The House was booked for a walking party for a week and provided the ideal location for some outstanding walks. The accommodation was welcoming with many artefacts from the previous private owner still in place. It felt like living as guests of the Laird. The kitchen was large but soon got crowded when preparing breakfast, but the dining room and...

Held a family house party at Dunfallandy which was great fun! Dinner parties each night, first one was Dads Army, then 60/70 disco party, last one formal evening with Mr & Mrs quiz. The house was lovely and warm. The bar area was the hub of the house, luckily the opening hours were relaxed and the bar keeper Herbie was...

Gorgeous old mansion house in its own grounds, we had the whole house for the entire weekend and loved every minute of it. Rooms were cosy and comfortable. The kitchen was large and very well equipped and the little bar with pool room off the lounge was great fun.

We hired this house on a self catering basis for my parents 50th wedding anniversary celebration and were delighted with the accommodation and the facilities. We were a party of 20 with lots of children of different ages but the size of this house and garden meant that we never felt we were living on top of each other, The...

This is an ideal location for a family or group getaway. The house itself is stunningly impressive but at the same time has a very welcoming and cosy atmosphere. John & Stella, the hosts, were great, very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful where information or local knowledge was required. The rooms were terrific with en suite facilities and...

We stayed at this amazing house for our family get together all rooms were amazing and all had ensuite so no queue for the bathroom, dinning room supplied a large table which catered for our adults and had two smaller ones for the kids. The log fire was amazing to sit around but the self serve bar was the highlight...

We have hired this house for a friends getaway several times now, and have no plans of stopping! Accomodation is great (just a pity they've stopped using the rooms above the kitchen, as they were my favourite), plenty to see and do, and the self service bar may be the smallest room in the house but will no doubt be...

Booked the house for my hen weekend. It was exactly what we wanted, a house just to ourselves but with someone on site if we needed them. We were busy during the day so arranged to have breakfast provided for us and there was plenty of choice including a cooked breakfast for those of us who needed it. The fact...
