This is such a lovely B&B. Pauline has created an impeccably clean and welcoming atmosphere for guests. She is bright and helpful and talkative. My father couldn’t get over the attention to detail and the perfectly chosen décor. Truly very elegant. We booked the entire B&B for our family of 6 and truly had the run of the second floor...

Dear RBdreamtripper, thank you for your lovely review of your families visit to Northlands B&B last summer. It’s great fun when the house is occupied by a family and we’re delighted when they feel it’s a ‘home away from home’. It was a pleasure meeting with you all, especially speaking antiques with your father. We glad you have wonderful memories...

This really is the best B&B we have ever stayed in! Arriving after a long, difficult and exhausting journey in freezing conditions in November we were made so welcome it brought a lump to the throat... We were given a beautiful bedroom - warm, comfortable and full of lots of thoughtful and unexpected touches to make us feel at home;...

This is the best B&B we stayed in in Scotland, and we stayed in nice ones. This is, in fact, the best B&B I have ever stayed in. Pauline is head and shoulders above the rest, and her home is absolutely fabulous. And the breakfast was the best we had in Scotland, bar none. I cannot come up with any...

Northlands B&B is a traditional, stone built Victorian lodge house with large, high-ceilinged rooms and furnishings in keeping with the style. Consequently, rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated with small attentions to detail like toiletry baskets in the shower rooms and whisky as a night cap (or in my husband's case, an aperitif before dinner!). It's these little touches which...

Pauline is the best host we've encountered at a B&B. She takes great pride in her business and looks out for and after her guests with great care. The house itself is just gorgeous. Pauline is a wonderful hostess. The historic home is sited on a hillside just above the center of Pitlochry; easy walking distance to restaurants, whisky distilleries, shopping and a lovely walk along the river. Beautifully presented house in immaculate condition. Very hospitable owners who couldn't have done more to help. The quality of the local food for breakfast was superb and the lovely personal touches such as a wee dram of whisky and a couple of pieces of millionaires shortcake in the room made it feel very special
