Having enjoyed a lunch in the Moulin last summer we decided to stop over during our trip north this Feb. The 300 year old Inn did not disappoint. The service was excellent and the rustic charm of the bar restaurant was superb. Food was simple but excellent. Great choice of real ales, gins and malts all of which we enjoyed....

Proper old school Hotel, hearty food and there own beer served in the bar, along with the locals and there dogs in front of the open fire, great for the craic, comfy rooms if a little dated decor but everything worked fine so, lovely choice of breakfast from kippers to the full Scottish or a build your own, we really...

Dog friendly pub/restaurant. Full of character. Made to feel very welcome by the locals. Have recommended this place to others. Lovely place to stop in for a drink or a bite to eat, especially if you have just walked up Ben Vrakie.

Having read reviews of this hotel before i booked. I couldnt believe the amount of comments stating the hotel was dated...What do people expect...it was established in 1695 and was quite frankly just exactly as i hoped it would be...yes it has creaky floorboards...but the room was large and clean and had everything we needed...but what done it for us...

The hotel was recommended by the owner of Craigvrack so paid a visit for a meal. Had a great meal so went back the next night and had another excellent meal. Not a pricey place good food and served by friendly staff. Barman was a good source of information on what is going on in the area. They also welcome...

Having visited this hotel many times in the past for drinks and great food, we decided to stay over meeting friends in Pitlochry. Hotel is very old, quirky and quaint, but also needs bit of tlc. On first floor our room was smallish but adequate, however the window did not open and was running with condensation, the bathroom had no...

This is the second time I have stayed in the Moulin. The location is stunning and I really like the old world feel of the place but I don't think we'll be back again. We found some of the staff to be quite standoffish and rude (not all) and the food was pretty overcooked. Food orders were wrong so we...

This is a great wee local pub with a good selection of ales brewed on site, delicious food at good prices and friendly staff. It is also dog friendly which is great after a long walk in the surrounding countryside.

Repeat visit, not the cheapest but worth it in my book as the building is part of our history and has a charm that cannot be replicated. Clean rooms and the family room is lovely and recommended. The moulin can be enjoyed all year round. The staff were attentive and polite. The breakfast was delicious, the haggis was tremendous, could've...

We visited the Moulin Inn and enjoyed the warm welcome, good food, and great ale... The pub (& hotel) is situated just outside Pitlochry in the village of Moulin... The Moulin Inn is the oldest part of The Moulin Hotel and dates back to 1695... the pub is full of charm, character, and traditional hospitality and service... The pub offers...
