We popped into this hotel for a bar meal, the bar was full and we were taken without problem to the restaurant where we had a lovely bar meal. The staff where friendly and very helpful and we would recommend this establishment.

This is a must on any visit to the Perth and Kinross area. You could combine a visit to the Edradour distillery with a delightful lunch afterwards at this hostelry which is renowned for its fine selection of ales, home cooked food and roaring open fire, the smell of which lures you in. The haggis, neeps and tatties are great... More

We always ensure that we visit The Moulin Hotel when in Perthshire. The selection of beers is fantastic and the staff are always pleasant and welcoming. The open fire always adds to the experience. The hotel is set in a very beautiful village and it is worth visiting the little church and visitor centre across the road. We will definately... More

We first popped in for a quick drink after climbing the nearby Ben Vrackie and sampled their own ales from the adjacent brewery - very tasty! The pub was very busy, as were the outside tables on an unusually sunny October afternoon and there appeared to be many foreign tourists anxious to try out the "local fayre." As we saw... More

We had spotted the Moulin on our way to Edradour and decided to pop in on the way back. We were not disappointed. This place is exactly what I want from a 300 year old pub. The service was quick, the food piping hot and tasty, and we were impressed that there was a wee brewery out back, making tasty... More

We visited the bar restaurant today for lunch with our friends from Sweden. I thought the length of time we had to wait for our meal was embarrassing, especially as one of our number was diabetic, and for this reason I would not return. The waiter and waitress were very polite and cheerful, but there was no recognition of the... More

Their meals were taken in the Pub, not the restaurant. The Pub does get very busy and as all food is cooked freshly to order, a little delay is impossible to avoid, but you couldn't be waiting in a better place. Glad you enjoyed the meal. More

A lovely old inn and and brewery, serving very good food in a lovely bar. The welcome was warm and the room was fine. A good selection of ales, the only negative being the bar was exceptionally hot, however I would definitely return.

We found the hotel by using the Good Pub Guide. Our telephone booking was taken most efficiently we also asked for a table to be reserved in the restaurant for dinner that evening. On checking in we were told that we would be the only people in the restaurant so would we like to take dinner in the bar which... More

Found this through Lonely Planet during driving holiday in Scotland after a long day driving. What a find ! Cosy, traditional rooms which were clean and nicely presented. Food in restaurant was really good and the atmosphere in the bar was great. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

My sister and I took our mother for a 5 day break in Scotland and chose to base ourselves in the Pitlochry area - I found the Moulin by chance through an internet search - and what a wonderful find. This is a true gem of a hotel, with superb and very attentive staff, who cannot do enough to help... More
