We visited with friends in March 2017. As usual it never disappoints. Cosy hotel with log fires and the rooms are warm. Had a lovely afternoon tea and a meal in the Bothy Bar. Both were lovely. Lovely cooked breakfast the next day. The staff are lovely and friendly and can't do enough for you. Our friends were very impressed...

I booked this hotel as it was pet friendly. I booked a twin room and stated I would be bringing 2 dogs with me. When we arrived at hotel it was at this point they told me only 1 dog per room. This should have been made clear to me at time of booking as I wouldn't have booked this...

Purchased the Itison deal for this hotel which included, breakfast overnight stay and a prosecco afternoon tea! - When I first called the person I spoke to was a male and he wasn't very pleasant and it kind of put me off - but when I arrived he wasn't working that day - The staff were great and very nice...

My wife and I have stayed at the hotel four times. It is a great place to go in the winter with great open fires and always a warm welcome. the staff go out of their way to be helpful. This is not a modern hotel but it benefits from its homeliness and "Olde Worlde" character. The bar stocks several...

This place is a little gem, stopped here a few times for food in the attached pub but never to stay the night, great for families. Play park round the corner. Cosy fire, tartan skirts, good selection of local brews and pub food. Ideal.

We stayed here for one night, the staff were very friendly, the area lovely for exploring and the hotel very traditional and cosy. We had afternoon tea by the fire which was absolutely lovely. We had dinner later on in the bar, the main restaurant was closed, but the bar had a nice atmosphere with a good selection of food....

We've just spent 2 lovely nights here. A fab discount deal for b+b with afternoon tea and glass of fizz. Our room was great; large, clean and comfy with space for a sofa and everything you'd expect. The lounge area where we took afternoon tea and had drinks in the evening is lovely. Lots of traditional armchairs and a great...

Such a cosy hotel and so nice inside, rooms are clean with everything you need, superb menu or the bothy bar next door is just as good, a perfect getaway for couples who need a chill out with a nice setting, friendly and helpful staff and comfy rooms.
