My husband and I visited this weekend on the 2 night Dinner bed and breakfast deal and have to say were not disappointed at all, food has been excellent, accommodation good and staff very friendly and welcoming. We had room 201 which was a bit on the dark side and lighting shabby, 25watt bulbs which could be a bit stronger,...

Great portions , great service , great presentation and most of all the food was piping hot and tasted sooooo good , will definitely be returning for this simple reason , in fact...

Just got back from a two day break at this hotel, and cannot thank the staff enough for having a great stay. All the staff make this a hidden gem in the highlands, particularly Caroline and Jennifer. The food is great and the portions are massive, really good traditional Scottish food. There was eight of us on the first night...

Had a great time. Staff fab. Couldn't do enough for us. Had afternoon tea in gardens and dinner in bar at night. Food fab. This is not a five star hotels but if looking for old Scottish type hotel with bit of character give the hotel a try. One again all staff very friendly and nothing was a problem. Will...

A very nice hotel. Our room had a large comfortable bed and our meal in the impressive baronial hall was very good. They have a real ale bar. Unfortunately let down as there is internet access only in the lounge area and not the bedrooms. As this was available in every other hotel we visited, this loses a point in...

Just stayed here for an overnight with an It Is On deal. Tasty afternoon tea, with home-made shortbread, meringues and scones. To top it all you get a lovely glass of prosecco! Room was lovely and clean and had all the necessities you would need. Had a bar meal in the Bothy Bar, great food and good prices, and they...

This was a lovely old hotel within walking distance of a local castle (can't remember the name) and a 15 minute drive to Pitlochery. Our room was very small (the door hit the bed when we opened it), but was clean and we were only there one night. Free wifi in the lobby. The pub attached had maybe the best...

We stayed here for a few days, they have two types of guests, normal paying, and package holiday guests, one of our friends upgraded and got a room with a jacuzzi ,a four poster bed and a dark dingy room looking onto a dirt covered manky flat roof covered in rubble, electrical cables rubbish in fact. The four poster bed was covered in tartan drapes...

Myself and my staff take reviews very seriously as we all work hard together as a team. I have asked many of my staff if they had any negative comments during your stay or complaints, they hadn't.I find this review very insulting to both the staff and hotel. The customer is usually right but in this case I will not accept this.If...

A wonderful traditional Highland Hotel just on the edge of the Cairngorm National Park. Spacious rooms, lovely food and smashing friendly staff. The highlight for me is the welcoming reception area with the roasting open fire if you're lucky to catch that time of year. If not there's a nice beer garden outside the bothy bar. Add to that the...
