The title says it all really, just a quality outfit. Great menu with well made food, lovely decor and great staff. Been many times and always a consistent excellent affair. It gets busy so book and you won't be disappointed. I would say the upstairs is better but nice to eat downstairs too. If I was asked to go for...

Me and a friend had been driving all day and decided to stop here for a late lunch, we were so hungry! Service was very fast and waitress really chatty. Def choose an ice cream sundae for dessert, they were amazing. So glad we stopped in this town and found this gem.

Very rarely will you be disappointed with a meal at a Costley restaurant. We go to Souters regularly and the usual plate is fish and chips; very good. Chose the T bone steak and the fillet portion was perfect, the sirloin was a tad tough. Good staff and in a lovely area of Ayrshire

I have always believed that the greatest invention we have ever given the world is the breakfast. And, before I continue, I have reviewed this restaurant before and have had nothing but praise for it and its food and service. However, I was disappointed with the breakfast. What I received tasted lovely..... but there was just not enough of it....

Our family went to Souter Johnnies last night to celebrate our daughter's 16th birthday. I have to say the food was excellent, sensibly priced and the service, very good indeed. The staff were wonderful and even went to the trouble of finding a birthday song, with my daughter's name in it! What a lovely place to visit. Thank you, we...
