Me, my husband and our baby stayed here for the weekend. The hotel is beautiful and the meal we had was delicious. Our room was nice but the bathroom radiator was not working so was pretty chilly. We told the lady at reception and she got a portable heater almost straight away for us. The meal was excellent and all... More

Took a short break in the hotel whilst visiting Ayr for the races. Went to the same meeting here last year and had a fabulous room with a huge bathroom and freestanding bath, so were a bit disappointed with the much smaller room we were given this time. However, it was perfectly adequate albeit with possibly the smallest hotel double... More

We had a lovely stay at the Fairfield house hotel for two nights. The staff were very welcoming and tentative throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble. We ate diner in Martin's Bar & Grill which we could not fault. Fantastic options on the menu from which we chose scallops for starter and the Lamb and Beef mains which... More

Visited here and throughly enjoyed it, lovely large room, comfy bed and good food. The only issue we had was that we felt it was overpriced, yes the hotel is nice but I feel we could have booked into somewhere else for a much more reasonable rate and had the same experience.

We were booked for D,B&B but on arrival were told the kitchen was shut due to a gas problem. We were sent along the road to another hotel for dinner and it was amazing. The situation was rectified the next morning and we got breakfast in the Fairfield. We hadn't taken jackets as we had not expected to leave the... More

I booked this hotel for a weekend away in Ayr. In the booking, I made clear that we needed a quiet room because of health issues. Unfortunately they ignored my request and when we arrived, we noticed that there was a wedding and they have put us in a room just above the function suite! Needless to say we could... More

Stayed at the Fairfield House Hotel on the recommendation of other Trip Advisor reviews and weren't disappointed despite requesting to change rooms because of the limited sea view. Take note that room 11 (Blenheim) has limited sea views as you instead look onto the roof of the leisure centre. However, the staff in all departments were exceedingly friendly and helpful... More
