The rooms are comfortable, and perfect for a one night stay. We found that there were parts of the room which were covered in a lot of dust, but everywhere else was clean. The breakfast in the morning was lovely, and my friend enjoyed the sausages most of all. A lot of plates hung on the walls of the dining... More

A very comfortable stay so near the CBD and all facilities including the rail station. Everything is 10 minutes away. Very clean, spacious comfortable room, toiletries provided, with a great choice of cooked breakfast, & catering for vegetarians. Sheila was very accommodating with getting soy milk for my muesli and flexible breakfast times. A lovely relaxed week stay, well worth... More

We had a lovely stay at The Dunn Thing last weekend. It is situated just off the main thoroughfare in a very quiet, peaceful tree lined avenue and very easy to find. Our room was spotless and the bed was most comfortable. Sheila was very welcoming landlady and down to earth. Breakfast was plentiful with lots to choose from. This... More

Stayed here for one night as I was in Ayr on business. Very nice place. Landlady was very friendly and welcoming. She made conversation and when she found out I was here on business, she made sure I knew where I was going and how to get there. Room was spacious, well decorated and well equipped with the essentials. Breakfast... More

Nice b&b and friendly host who advised us of a local pub where we could take our dog, which had lovely food. Good breakfast and even catered for me as a vegetarian. Nice location as close to seafront so ideal for walking our dog
