The owners are very friendly (the dog too), the hotel is very clean every day, the breakfast is delicious. Very close to the beach, parks , Pete Pirates and city centre. So you don`t need use the car all the time. I really recommend and I will stay there again for sure.

. . .and this is one of the "others". Dog hair in the dining room. Black mold in the bathroom. Green mold on the brown bread toast. Unappealing view of a messy personal residence room from the dining area. The management seems not too interested in the guests, failing even to greet us and introduce themselves.

At long last I have worked out how to reply to reviews and Jackson and I would really like to thank you for your review. It reminded us that although we have been in the buisiness for over 14 years we CANNOT ever be off guard and not provide the quality service we pride ourselves in. After your 'wake up... More

4 of us enjoyed two nights here, using the B&B as a base for our trip to the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. The rooms were clean and comfortable, while the breakfast was fabulous - made to order with a continental option also available. We particularly liked the photos in the dining room and the place mats on the tables which... More

We were a group of friends staying here for 4 nights in June, and it was fab! The rooms were very comfy and welcoming (ask for the rooms on first floor upwards, as the ground floor one was slightly smaller), the breakfast was spot on (and we were extremely impressed that the landlord remembered exactly what we ate!) and Thai... We were only able to spend one night in Ay; however, this was one of our favorite places on a two-week drive through Scotland. Jackson, Eileen and Thai made everyone feel special and we were reluctant to leave. I would definitely recommend Queen's Guest House to anyone staying in Ayr.

Really friendly family run guest house. In desperate need of modernisation and TLC. Too floor room, when you sit up in bed you hit head from slanted roof. Didn't eat breakfast although we were hungry but not enough tables for 5 rooms. Very Central.

After having a Groupon deal go bust I needed to find a quick replacement. The Queens Guest house came up on a search and was on an offer of £100 for 2 nights stay and breakfast. I checked direct that we could check in late etc and went to pay by Paypal. It wouldn't allow me for some reason so... More
