I stayed here with a group of student travelers as we toured Scotland and England. The rooms were ready when we arrived, and the staff was wonderful! When I asked the young woman at the reception desk to make copies for me, she did so with a smile and without charging me. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, and we even...

Used to regularly enjoy the Saturday night Dinner Dance but hadn't been for about 4 years. Seems to have lost...something. Quiet in comparison to what it used to be with most people choosing to sit in the bar! Band were great and did their best to get everyone dancing. DJ was awful - would have been as well putting a...

I have just returned from the Rob Roy with a group and we had a great time. Hotel is only two floors high and has a lift, although it's a bit of a trek along either the outside or corridor. Rooms are comfortable and food excellent. Staff were very helpful and considerate. What made it special was the great weather....

Although only a 2 star hotel it was very clean, friendly staff and dinner was 3 course with 3 choices for each course, service was excellent. Would recommend. A lovely walk in to Aberfoyle village - 1 mile, shops, tea shop, gift shop, antique shop and a lovely little Christmas shop which gives 10% discount if you are staying at...

I stayed at the Rob Roy for two nights with my parents, the rooms were a good size and clean but needs updating throughout. There was also a bad smell in the rooms and the water from the shower. I tried to have a shower in the morning but the water was cold and at one point completely switched off...

We have just spent 2 nights dbb at this hotel. The price was amazing, we have never had such a bargain before. I would advise everyone to phone the hotel directly. I did this and the rate was so much less than easy breaks, and I thought that was a good deal! The hotel is currently having a face lift....

This hotel is in great need of being updated but the rooms are a decent size and are clean. The only big point I would mention is that the reception area is not accessible to anyone in a wheelchair. If you are going from the accommodation block, with someone in a wheelchair, to either the dining room or the bar...

The Rob Roy Hotel is situated at the gateway to the Trossachs in beautiful countryside where one of Scotland's most famous rogue's "Rob Roy McGregor" once roamed. The Hotel is an ideal centre for touring the Trossachs, Perthshire and the Highlands. The little picturesque village of Aberfoyle is just 1 mile from the Hotel and is host to three visitor centres, The Scottish Wool Centre, The David Marshall Lodge and the Scottish Tourist Board's very own Discovery Centre.
