Amazing 4 night stay at this beautiful hotel. Views from room breathtaking , and Maria the owner was so so welcoming. Couldnt do enough for you. Gave us a blanket, food/treats and bowls for our dog, which was a lovely touch. Also breakfast to go every morning was very welcome. Had meal/drinks at night with a good choice on menu and bar. (Highly recommended the sirloin steak n ale pie). Best I've ever tasted. Room spotless and loved having a bath and shower. Teas/coffee/ biscuits and bottled water replenished every day. Loved that Maria sat with us watching the Scotland/England game and had a right good laugh. Will most definitely return when back on Lewis. 10/10 all the way
We stayed for two nights and were very impressed with the Loch Erisort Inn. Our room was spacious and perfectly clean. The owners are really friendly and were incredibly accommodating given that our dog also stayed with us. The dinner served was fresh and very tasty with a good number of choices on the menu. All dietary requirements are catered for. The breakfast choices to go were also much appreciated especially for an early start when travelling around the island. I would highly recommend the Loch Erisort Inn to anyone visiting Harris and Lewis.
Really enjoyed my stay. Berney and Geraldine made us feel extremely welcome and were excellent hosts. They give us advice on where to visit as well where we could stop off for food. Food was excellent and the stay was really good value for money. Berney is a fascinating character and has some great story's to tell.
Geraldine and Bert were great host. They provided for our every need and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The rooms were clean and warm. The food in the resturant was very good. Each morning the breakfast was excellent and Bert was willing to make suggestions of places to visit. He also gave excellent directions to the beaches.
We, my son Oliver and I, arrived via Ullapool to Stornoway and travelled by car 30 minutes to the Inn in a remote part of the island. It was a beautiful setting. Our rooms were large, clean and comfortable: this together with the warm welcome we received made us feel really at home and comfortable. Geraldine cooked us some chips on arrival even though the restaurant was already closed for the night - we were late arrivals, which I thought was very kind of her and much appreciated. The food in the restaurant was excellent and completely enjoyed, as was the home cooked breakfast. The Inn was situated in a spot that made easy access to the historical places we visited throughout the Island and after a day sightseeing, it was a pleasure to return to the Inn.
