First class. Large bedrooms. Multiple showers. Ample kitchen. Lovely hosts. If day tripping by car this is a good central location. Walk down the Croft to the loch and enjoy the sheep. Easy access to Stornoway

Driving up a lane surrounded by rhododendron bushes with baby bunnies darting from beneath you arrive at Taigh Chailean which is a beautiful 2 bedroom bungalow. Sheep graze in the fields & the views are idyllic. A very warm welcome awaits you from the lovely owner Marion ( who lives with her family further down the lane) & who comes in each morning to make a superb breakfast. The accommodation is immaculate & we have now stayed there 3 times. Her wealth of knowledge of the Island is exceptional & both Marion & her husband Donald can point you in the right direction for places of interest. We have also met some lovely people when we have stayed there. Lloyd & Fiona Nottingham

This b and b has just 2 rooms with a shared lounge area. We stayed here for 5 nights as a couple in the double room, the bed is one of the best we have ever slept on - it is so comfortable. The room is very spacious with patio doors which lead onto a balcony. The bathroom is beautifully designed, the shower is excellent. The breakfasts are lovely and the sitting room has lovely views. We originally only booked for 4 nights but had to stay an extra night due to the ferry being cancelled, Marion was more than happy to let us stay on and she made us 2 breakfast packs as we had to catch the 7:20 ferry the next day.

This must be the best B&B on the Isle of Lewis. Accommodation perfect, clean, luxurious and excellent condition. There are certainly no 'tired' areas here. 5 stars not enough, it has exceeded our expectations on every level. We will certainly return here. Pricing for what you get is very reasonable, in fact I believe it is worth considerably more. Thank you Marion for making our holiday super and your excellent hearty breakfast with loads of choices.

What a find - a beautifully appointed Bed and Breakfast separate from the Owners House. 2 Bedrooms with large opening doors onto a patio with views over the hills. Large bed rooms lots of space, very smart large shower room lovely towels on hot towel rain. Warm comfortable and relaxing Large glass sitting area which can either be used in the evening to sit or for breakfast in the morning. Breakfast excellent - first B&B that serves tea made with 'real' tea! Will will definitely be back thank you.
