A beautiful hostel, well-kept and very friendly. Self-serve breakfast was included. Lovely location in the centre of Ennis on the banks of the river, good for local pubs, also has its own well - appointed riverside café, though we didn't go there.

Rowan Tree Hostel is the best hostel I have ever stayed at! Friendly and helpful staff. Very informative on places to go in town especially for good Trad music. They offer dorm rooms as well as private. I have stayed in both and can stay both were top notch. Very clean from the rooms to the kitchen. The kitchen is...

Let me just start off by saying that I do not have a lot of experience with hostels. In fact, the Rowan Tree Hostel is only the 3rd hostel I have ever stayed at in my life. I arrived at the hostel after getting into Ennis around 2:30 in the morning and luckily they had a room. The gentleman got...

Every once in a while you pitch a perfect game. As the staff at Rowan Tree Cafe Bar did tonight. As a thirty year veteran of the restaurant business I am rarely amazed...but the dinner and service I received this evening was nothing short of a 5-star experience. My server, Conor, made impeccable recommendations and was present when necessary but...

Summary:Got locked out in -2 c temp despite assurance the accommodation would be open all night and staff. When I arrived back that night I had to ring the bell and bang all the windows for 30 minutes to wake up the night porter (what a great job, getting paid to sleep). He didn't even apologise as he was still half...

I liked this hostel! It's Clean, airy, well located, good bed and shower, friendly staff, clean kitchen and normal breakfast. I certainly indicated. The only thing is I found it a bit expensive in the case of a hostel.

Beautiful setting from onset. Excellent customer service. Reception is warm and inviting. Food is delicious. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Love the interior, it's like an old big sitting room area. Timber floors and a huge oversize fireplace on one side. Beautiful rest for all occasions lunch dinner staff nights or romantic dinner for two. I've eaten here many...

Excellent accommodation for tour groups, set in a beautiful 18th century hunting lodge. No group is too big or too small that they won't cater for. Staff are really helpful too, highly recommended if you're looking for a base from which to explore the southwest and west of Ireland.

Starting from our check in until the end of our stay, we have been amazed by this place! It's beautiful, new and well kept, clean all around and spacious! We have booked a double room but wow...even our own room back home is not as large as we have been treated with. The staff team go beyond their capabilities and...
