We were one level up from restaurant on 2nd floor. Easy steps and very quiet room. Basic and very clean. The pub downstairs had a great band and was very crowded but still quiet in our rooms. Restaurant was excellent. Best thing was it had secured parking and was a 3 minute walk to Blarney Castle. Good breakfast included with...

This is the perfect choice for those who wish to see Blarney and tour Northern Cork. And it is literally 15 minutes from Cork City. The room facilities are nothing fancy, but our room was clean and quiet. The food was good basic pub fare - again, nothing special (although my fish and chips was bang on). We ate dinner...

After travelling most of the morning a good fast meal was just what we needed. This pub was amazing . The two gentlemen were extremely friendly when we walked in. We were offered the choice of breakfast or lunch as it was at that change around time. We settled for the breakfast one with a full Irish and one with...

Stayed for a night on the 13th. My friend took the disabled room and said it was as good as any hotel room he'd ever stayed in. Fine praise indeed because he's been to many. My room was smaller but very comfortable, although the shower was a bit temperamental and I couldn't turn the heater down (or off,) from it's...

Arrived at the Muskerry Arms as the second stage of a trip around Ireland and were there for two days. Made to feel extremely welcome from the start with the owners remembering our names throughout, after the initial introduction. An absolute gem of a pub, recommended to us by family who'd stayed before and I would not hesitate in recommending...

Visited on a Thursday evening. We were warmly greeted and served quickly. We took advantage of the main course, dessert, pint and a coffee for €20. The burger was outstanding, pure steak with no dribbling fat. The sea food chowder was packed with fish and came with a selection of lovely bread. Desserts lovely too and outstanding value. We will...

Lively pub with brilliant music on both nights. Lovely atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Gary O Connor is a great host and very obliged. Family run pub and restaurant. Food is next to none. Definitely will return again. Mags Gleeson

Came in for a beer and a bite to eat. Great atmosphere. The service was quick and the people were polite. To start, I had the mushroom soup (great stuff). The burger was spectacular. If I come through Blarney again I will certainly. be sure to stop by.

Location is everything. So close to Blarney castle and right upstairs from the pub. While others complained about the noise from below I thought it was fine with earplugs. My complaint was more from the noises within the room. The toilet groaned loudly and for a long time after every flush. Not a great nights sleep but still a great...

Dropped in for a couple of drinks, lovely warm local atmosphere, outstanding whiskey selection, can highly recommend sampling. Music was provided by a soloist who made the night really enjoyable. A lot of the locals dine their and that is always a good sign. Will definitely return.
