We stayed at Kent House for 4 nights for a family wedding. It is a fantastic B&B, only 10 mins walk from the city centre, and 3 mins from the train station (no train noise is heard from the B&B). Had a warm welcome from the lovely hosts on arrival - the landlady Lorraine is an absolute star, she goes...

We truly enjoyed the night we spent at Kent House. From the moment we arrived, John was incredibly helpful in helping us decide how to spend our evening. He gave us a map with local events to peruse while we settled in. When we left, John wasn't around so we just kind of snuck out the door. He must have...

This was the perfect B&B for our time in Cork. Literally steps away from the train station, it was an easy walk with our luggage. Our room was spotless, the beds comfy, and the shower had good water pressure and ample hot water. My 11 year old was thrilled with the PlayStation in the room as well. We found the...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kent House-Lorraine and John were very welcoming. Breakfast was excellent and was supplemented by Lorraine's delicious home-made banana bread and rock cakes. We were given good tips about places we were visiting and given leaflets and helpful information. We would definitely recommend this B&B and hope to return in the future.

John and Lorraine could not have been kinder in this brilliantly situated B&B, within walking distance of the City and of the fantastic restaurant we found (Greene's) which is just down the road. It was wonderful to be able to park right out front and then WALK all over Cork. The room and bathroom were both spacious and comfortable. Although our window overlooked the train station behind us, it was very quiet... the trains seem to run silently! We enjoyed the art prints on the walls too. Breakfast was super.
