The Imperial Hotel provided a warm Irish welcome to me and the students I travel with. Our rooms were well-appointed, warm, and cozy. My students all raved about the breakfast, both the service and the food. The attention to history--expressed through pictures and documents posted on the walls--is a plus. Centrally located, perfect for walking.

The Imperial Hotel is conveniently located in the best part of Cork for dining , shopping and bar hopping & that is about the best thing I can say about the place. The service was indifferent, not rude but barely friendly. When we 1st checked in the heat wasn't working, nor was the coffee machine. The television was hard to...

came to spend some time with my Cork friends over Christmas. Excellent location, bar and restaurant recently made over and both are very open and welcoming, Dealt with Sinead at reception, couldn't have been friendlier or nicer, just like all the staff we encountered. Stayed in a Classic Double great nights sleep and finally, the decorations were fantastic, loved the...

The two girls at reception who checked us in gave us our...

I did not stay in the hotel but I popped in to get directions on where the best place to get food in the city. A girl named Lynda O'Sullivan referred me to their Pembroke restaurant and I had a lovely lunch there. Lynda was super friendly, approachable and a credit to the hotel

We stay here most times when we come to Cork. There is just something about the atmosphere that we love. When booking I did voice my one problem. It was that room sizes vary. They looked after us and we got a lovely room. Linda at reception was very helpful. There was also another girl and I didn't get her...
