The only great thing is that the hostel is only five minutes walk from the bus station. I did’t like my stay at the hostel mostly because of roommates, two girls who work in Cork and who already have had their routine with sleeping time and bathroom (and didn’t like fresh air). If we ignore the lack of air in... More

When we booked this, we knew it was bar / hostel combination. Starting off with parking, it is not provided. However, you can park for free after 6 pm until 8 or 9am. This worked out fine for us since we arrived around 6pm and were only staying one night. You walk through the bar to the back to check... More

The rooms in the hostel a very small, but clean. The positive thing is you have a bar in the basement which belongs to the hostel and you are only a 10min walk away from the city center. They provide free breakfast.

Spent a week throughout Ireland. We rented a four bunk personal en suite (private bathroom) room. The room was great, value good and having a bar downstairs helped. They had a band playing the night we stayed, so when we returned after dinner, it made for a relaxing evening. They had free breakfast (toast & cereal) in the morning so... More

I stayed for three nights and it was decent enough. The walls are paper thin though. I could hear my neighbours chatting. It was located in a decent spot and easy to get to the train and bus station. The rooms were cramped for the amount of beds, but it forced you to chat to your roomies so it was... More

I have stayed in previous hostel and have had wonderful experiences. This had to be my worse experience ever. 4 of us stayed in a room that could only be described as worse than a prison cell there wasn't even room to swing a cat in there ! The shower was just awful, the water was freezing and you kept... More

Rooms are fab. Staff was v rude and unfriendly. unhelpful and impolite when we encountered the lady at bar/reception. However we had stayed before and a lovely gentleman worked at reception. V friendly man Rooms are clean and lovely beds v comfortable. Just staff could do more at being friendly and welcoming to their customers. Excellent location.

I never stay much or ever in hostels, this time need quick accommodation fast and cheap and found this place. As said, not much experience with hostels but I guess it did for the purpose, bed and a sleep. Breakfast was included which I thought was a bonus. Would stay again, nothing fancy but if you are after a bed... More

I've stayed here more than once, so obviously it's good enough that I return. It's very close to a fantastic foodie pub (Gallagher's - I recommend) and it's only a few minutes from the bus and train stations. A few negatives: One toilet & shower per bank of rooms. A less-than-empathetic girl in our room took an incredibly long shower... More
