Great food, buzzing atmosphere, cosy surroundings full of charm and character and faultless service with a smile. Thank you Dave, you made our night with your witty banter and knowledge of the menu! We're already looking forward to our next visit!!

Had a lovely meal at McGettigans Cookhouse at the Ambassador. The food was delicious and the portions were large. The room is really tastefully decorated, and there was a nice buzz on a sunday evening. All the staff were excellent, especially Dave our waiter who looked after us really well. We will definitely return soon.

A lovely hotel, nice and clean rooms, great bar area. What really make this a lovely end to the honeymoon was the staff. Stephanie at reception was warm and friendly and Tom b and Dom in the bar were great. Super service from the team, I hope they get recognised for this

I recently dined in the McGettigans restaurant in the Ambassador Hotel with a friend. I found our waiter David to be extremely kind, helpful, friendly and charming with a great sense of humour. Our food was also of top quality. I got the braised lamb shank while my friend ordered the rack of lamb, both cooked to perfection. I would...

We stayed here for a short trip to Cork and realy enjoyed our stay, we had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the city. Rooms and hotel were clean and staff were friendly. It's on a steep hill overlooking the city so check your brakes and be prepared for a short but steep downhill walk to the city center....

Visited this hotel to go and see Kevin Bridges in Cork city. Hotel is up a steep hill for any one walking back, the rooms are very average and need some money spent on them, overall the rooms provided us somewhere to sleep. We used the outside decking area to extend our evening and sat under the patio heaters. Our...
