Beautiful courtyard and central location. The room had been newly decorated but not snagged - shower temp did not regulate and kettle was not working. But comfortable and friendly staff. I'm marking it down on the basis of value - Eur 120 for double room for a Saturday night with no breakfast. I believe even a continental breakfast should have...

We stayed 1 night here en route from Dublin to the southwest coast. The hotel is on a busy strip but across the river from the main shopping area. That area is a 10 minute walk away. Parking is a bit tricky, we didn't find a spot on the street to pullover and inquire at the hotel about their parking,...

I couldn't like this hotel more. Great location, just one street into town. Lovely entrance with a gargen and a waterfall. The reception lady was really nice. The restaurant was excellent - and busy. My mum and i had dessert and coffee after dinner in town and it was a masterpiece. Our room was huge and clean and the bathroom...

We stayed at the Hotel Isaacs for one night during our short visit in Cork. The staff were absolutely lovely and very very helpful and gave us lots of really good suggestions on nice places to go. The room was very nice and comfortable and the outside space was great! Would definitely go back and next I would make sure...

Our room had no view but was peaceful. We went to the Everyman Theatre for a show - if you stay in the hotel you can get a dinner/theatre deal of the theatre ticket plus dinner. Otherwise, residents get 15% off at time of writing in Green's restaurant. The waterfall (yes, a waterfall!) in the courtyard of this city hotel...

Hmmm.. Unfortunately there is a complete lack of communication among staff.. Agreed a price to include breakfast for the 2 nights... Got there, checked in and was given a completely different price. Despite advising of the price quoted, I had to pay separately for breakfast. €99 per night bed only !!!! you would think they would include the normal shampoo...

After being on the road for a few days, and staying at a different place very night, my mom and I decided to change our reservation at Hotel Isaacs Cork from one night to two nights and we are so glad that we did! It's a great little hotel with a fun courtyard (that also has a waterfall). The staff...

Lovely hotel in the centre of town, totally not "chain", lovely staff. Courtyard beautiful(see photo), rooms standard and a bit jaded. Restaurant excellent. If you are in Cork for a few nights well worth it. P.S opposite the Everyman theatre

Good hotel in a great location, just 5 minutes walk to centre of the city. Rooms clean and tidy but bathroom a bit damp smelling. Walls paper thin, I could hear the banter going on in room next door but not a huge deal for me.Reception Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, were quick to recommend a good Italian restaurant...

“Apartments are a good deal if you want to do some self-catering. Street traffic can be loud.”
  • Main bedroom in apartment. Windows are not well sound-insulated.
  • Living area in apartment. Not very well laid out, and leather sofas are unappealing.
  • Kitchen area in apartment.
  • Soap and shampoo from Gilchrest and Soames: cruelty free and pump dispensers save plastic
  • Second bedroom in apartment, includes a small desk.
