I stayed overnight for work. Room was modern and excellently decorated. Bed very comfortable and bathroom good. I ate in the bar and while the menu is fairly limited and a bit pricey for bar food it was to an excellent standard. There are good facilities for the solo traveller

Good hotel, all ok. Just the room can be a bit bigger but as enough. Nice staff, nice services. The leisure pool area aren't so clean as we wish. Breakfast was great, nice quality and variety on the buffet.

I had booked a single and it was small, the bed was pushed up against one side. there was little space to put your toiletries in the bathroom. They do have larger rooms as I asked Rosa at reception. Have a look at Jury’s Hotel too. Hotel prices in Ireland are cheaper on a Sunday night so this may influence the planning of your stay.

There are lots of bars in Cork city that are well worth visiting. We only had a drink from the bar with our evening meal. Room was a good size, compatible to other similar hotels.
