The owners are the sweetest people, so friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable with an ensuite. The breakfast was great! I liked the little Yorkie, she was very friendly. The location was close to downtown only a quick 5 minute walk - the walk back was up a steep hill.

Gorgeous little B+B near central Cork. We stayed one night before a morning flight, Olive welcomed us warmly on arrival with tips on the local nightlife and even opened up breakfast a little early so we could beat the traffic. The room was cosy with a very well appointed bathroom and comfy bed. If you're visiting, be sure to drop...

We stayed at Auburn House on a trip to Cork recently. My husband was very hesitant, as he had not traveled in Ireland before and had never stayed in a B & B. Its been 15 years since I was here last, and I must say my experiences 15 years ago were "mixed". That said, Auburn House was BRILLIANT! Olive...

Stayed there 4 nights in August. A very comfortable room with plenty of space for storage and moving around. Location was perfect for getting to city center of Cork and within walking distance to the bus terminal. The rooms were quiet and despite being fully booked, we barely knew that other guests were there other than breakfast time. Olive was...

This bed and breakfast is one of the best we have stayed at, the rooms are clean and spacious with comfortable beds. The breakfast is fantastic, the Irish breakfast is recommended but you can have other variations and alternatives. All this is made possible by the owners, Olive & Kieren, myself and Polly would like to thank you both for...

Our family of 4 stayed a few nights at the Auburn House and are so glad we did! Excellent location to walk to after our arrival by train and as a "home base" to visit other destinations i.e. Cobh and Kinsale. Olive and Kieran's hospitality is wonderful and an example of what makes staying at a B&B so special. Their...

We stayed at Auburn House for 3 nights at the start of our touring holiday of West Ireland. Both Olive & Kieran were excellent hosts making us feel very welcome & supplying us with local information. Auburn House is ideally situated within 20 minutes drive of Cork airport & within a 10 minute walk of Cork city centre. Parking is...

Ideal location, 10 minutes walk from the bus station, with a slight hill to climb (took less than two mins to walk and we are not young!!) We used the bus station for Blarney, Kinsale and airport transfers. 10 minute walk to the City Centre for food and pubs. Olive (the proprietor) was lovely and made us feel so welcome,...

We had a lovely one night stay with Olive and Kieran at Auburn house! The location was fantastic - we travelled by train and it was an easy walk to the B&B, as well as only being a 5 minute walk into the centre of town. Both hosts were incredibly welcoming - especially their lovely tiny dog, who was ready...

This B+B gets top marks for the wonderful hospitality shown by Olive and Kieran, the nice comfortable beds in what was a large sized room, the delicious breakfast cooked to perfection and value for money too compared with other nearby establishments. Having seen several other rooms in this B+B, I was more than impressed throughout. The Auburn is also very...
