Apparently in the summer the hotel also doubles as a club but we could clearly hear (and feel the vibrations from) every track. Additionally, the room is above the smoking shelter so we also had...

Stayed here for 4 nights as part of a music festival package. The rooms are basic but very suitable with all you need. The staff were extremely helpful & pleasant. The food was really good, as was the drinks. We had a room above the music, so was a bit noise into the little hours, as specially the disco which...

My mother and I stayed at The Abbey Hotel for four nights in May, and would happily stay there again. The hotel itself is as central as it could possibly be, located right on The Diamond, with the river behind. Although there is no on-site parking, the hotel provides a voucher daily for the public car park a short walk...

Because the hotel serves 'sizzler steaks' the smoke causes serious cooking smells and these stale smells were even present in the corridors of the...

Drove into town with no reservation and was astounded to get a room with Breakfast for 79 euro. Old hotel that was renovated I believe in 2003. Hotel is located on the city square with the river in the back. Beautiful restaurant and Ball Room.
