This is the third time we have stayed at Donegal Manor and we cannot rate it enough.

The manor is PERFECT for a large group of friends or family. The living/dining area is an impressive size and great for congregating together with more than enough seating.

The professional kitchen is amazing - we were able to cook for our group of 22 with no issues and there is plenty of fridge space for bringing any food or drink with you.

Beds are comfortable and each bedroom has it's own ensuite bathroom which is a real selling point for us. Once you are in the bedrooms you hear nothing from the living/dining areas so it is great when you have kids with you (or someone who wants to go to bed early).

We have always stayed in December and each time the house has been beautifully decorated for Christmas which is a lovely touch - the mince pies and mulled wine left by the hosts are so lovely as well! The wood burner keeps the living area nice and cosy and fire wood/coal is provided to keep you going throughout your stay.

The hosts are responsive and available when needed, but very happy to leave us to it.

5 minute drive to Biddy O'Barnes which has fantastic food, 5 minutes to Donegal Town with great pubs and restaurants and Lidl is less than 5 minutes drive - the location is perfect.

We love Donegal Manor and will definitely be back again and again!

We were a group of 15 on a golfing trip. Sian, our hostess, was very friendly and very helpful. She helped make arrangements for our golf and did some shopping for us ahead of time. The rooms were large and very comfortable. The large group common spaces for eating, socializing and cooking were ideal and made for a pleasant shared experience. The kitchen was well-equipped and allowed for many of us to participate in cooking, set up and clean up. Sian was responsive quickly to all of our requests and generously provided a full Irish Breakfast one morning during our stay. The Manor was conveniently located close to Donegal town and I would highly recommend it for creating a home-like setting for any gathering.

We are just back from a 2 night stay in Donegal Manor- a Mum and Baby group of 10 Mums, 10 one year olds and 5 older kids between us! We were unsure how the trip would go, but from the first contact, Sian was extremely friendly and helpful and answered all our questions promptly. The house is huge, an absolute delight that catered for our group perfectly. On arrival, we were met and shown around by Sian. The industrial kitchen was perfect for our group for prepping for all the kids, and there was lots of storage space in the huge fridge. The dining area was great seating for the little ones and the living room area with a tv and big enough for them all to play and for all us Mums to relax after they all went to bed. The bedrooms are all on a separate floor and each were spacious, with comfy beds and en suite. The grounds were lovely with lots of parking, and while the house is near the main road, it is still a safe huge space for the kids to play in. The games and colouring pencils and paper were a lovely touch as were the milk, bread, butter and biscuits. We are delighted we were able to organise the trip for such a big group of us but it was definitely made easier by Sian and Michael as such wonderful hosts. We are already talking about our return trip next year !! Thanks again Sian and Michael

Donegal Manor is the best accommodation for large families or groups if friends. From the professional kitchen to the dining room and especially the bedrooms Sian catered to all our needs. The kids enjoyed outdoor games in the large safe garden.
The greeting from our hosts Sian and Michael on arrival made us most welcome and the small touch of tea coffee bread etc just added to the experience. Sian was very prompt replying to my emails and any queries we had were attended too immediately. I would highly recommend Donegal Manor for any occasion and we hope to visit again. Thank you Sian and Michael for everything.

What can I say? We are just back from the best weekend ever and a big part of that was the excellent accommodation. There were 27 of us in total, men and women, ranging in age from 21-64. The layout of the house allowed couples to have their own room while others shared with friends. The huge living area and kitchen were perfect for our party games and socialising. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners Sian and Michael. If we needed them, they were on site within 5 minutes. They provided numbers for taxis, outside caterers and anything else we needed. I will definitely be back!!!

We recently had a wonderful stay in Donegal as a large group of friends including adults and children. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and there are some large family rooms which comfortably accommodated our family of 5. There was plenty of room in the living space for the children to play and adults to mingle. The large kitchen and dining area made it easy to cater for a large group. We enjoyed a trip to one of the beautiful beaches nearby. The whole weekend in Donegal Manor worked out so well we hope to go back again. Thanks to Sian and Michael for making our stay so comfortable and being so helpful with providing us with information to help us plan our trip and returning our forgotten items!

An amazing place to stay. We had a family gathering of approx 30 people and had the best time together! Would definitely highly recommend to anyone.

The kitchen is incredible and the manor was very comfortable and warm. My partner and I were particularly impressed with how comfortable the beds were!

There was so much space and we were able to party to early morning with no trouble.

We would all definitely stay again.

We are just back from spending a weekend at Donegal Manor for a hen party. There was 34 of us in total and we had the manor to ourselves. It was perfect location wise, amazing outside areas. Clean, modern, comfy rooms. Massive kitchen where you can cook or order in outside catering also. We walked into Donegal town to the bars and restaurants by day and at night time taxis were readily available. Can thank the hosts enough will we definitely be back!!

We stayed in Donegal Manor for my sisters hen party and from initial enquiry until checkout, Sian was so helpful! She helped me to source an outside caterer so we could eat in and also a minibus to get into the town itself.

The house was so spacious and absolutely immaculate with one of the comfiest beds I have slept in. Everyone commented on how lovely it was and loved the fully equipped kitchen and common area. Highly recommend if you are going with a large group!

It’s a fair walk really, and on the way back there is a big hill to walk up, taxi wouldn’t cost much though and there is a main taxi rank in the Diamond in central Donegal

You can contact Donegal Manor directly via email I would reserve your date in advance and your choice of meal - seafood, baked good or other. It was fun - more instruction than hands on but fun.
