We booked Heeneys Lodge as we were attending a wedding at Harvey's Point which is 5 minutes away. 3 days before we were due to arrive the owner contacted us to say they had a problem with the bedroom due to a previous guest leaving a tap on and flooding the bedroom. She apologised and immediately offered to book us...

This accomodation was lovely. The family room that we booked for two of us was large and comfortable and would have easily taken another person. It is close to town and easy enough to find if you put it into your navigation correctly. Donegal is pretty and we enjoyed our meal at the Castle Bar. The host was very friendly...

We couldn't locate the house based on GPS, but we stopped a lovely man walking who helped us find it. The parking wasn't the best but there was a spot for us to park. The hostess was very friendly and personable, and the perfect person to run the place. She explained everything she needed to, and recommended a restaurant for...

We stayed here while attending a wedding in Solis Lough Eske and were delighted to find a very welcoming host who led us to a spacious clean, en-suite room. The facilities are basic but everything you need. It is perfectly located, just a few minutes from the Solis, Harveys point and Donegal Town. The lady who runs it could not...

We booked this B&B a couple of weeks before attending the wedding and they couldn't have been more helpful. Allowing us to drop off our bags early on the day. The 3 of us (2 adults & 1 x 8 year old) turned up on the day to a warm and friendly welcome and nothing was any trouble. Our immaculate...

We visited on the 14th July 16 for 3 nights. We couldn't have been happier with everything. Landlady couldn't do more to help. Would definitely recommend anyone travelling to stay here. The rooms were very large and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.

Breda was the perfect hostess so friendly and welcoming. The family room was spotless and so spacious and cosy and on an wet Irish summer evening the extra bonus of electric blankets on the beds was so welcome. Breakfast was excellent freshly cooked and great variety. This B&B is top class well done to the attention to detail

From the moment we called from Belfast airport to say our suitcase hadn't arrived, the owner of Heeney's Lodge, Breda, proved the best host we could have hoped for. She offered to meet us in Donegal town and guide us to the Lodge, which was very re-assuring in our late night plight. And from then on she continued to help...

So lucky to have met Breda and stayed at her lovely home. Rooms are huge as are the beds, breakfast massive and Breda couldnt have been more helpful. Its too far from town to walk but its only €6 in the taxi. Definitely recommend
