Stayed for 1 night on New Year's Day. Room wasn't ready at 3:30. No basic bathroom supplies-no shampoo or body wash. Went with the fine dining option. The restaurant room was cold. Underwhelmed by food. €140 for food and 2 drinks. Didn't enjoy the experience €350 wasted.

A delightful hotel in a quiet area. Impressive architecture and excellent rooms and service. The staff in particular were more than happy to help out and generally went out of their way to accommodate us in any way possible. It was quiet when we were there. On the one hand it made it quite intimate, but on the other it...

The castle and surrounding area was absolutely stunning. The service was excellent, from when we drove up to when we left. We had a courtyard room, which is at the back, in the old stables which had been converted. The room had a beautiful décor, but we found it to be a little stuffy, but there was a fan provided....

Stayed at solis lough eske on "returning guest" package. As usual lovely reception, beautiful room. We ate our evening meal in the bar because we weren't very impressed with the restaurant on a previous visit, we felt it was overpriced for the quality of food. Unfortunately I have to say the rooms on the 3rd floor were stifling hot!! So...
