As I arrived I was welcomed by this man with a grey beard! Very funny and intelligent man who was fascinating to listen to! The beds were nice a bit tight the rooms but enough to get by! The breakfast in the morning was better than expected being in a hostel and loads to go around! Very clean and nice...

Stayed here for my hen do.. clean and friendly. Staff very helpful. Free standard breakfast, with free tea and coffee (what you need after a night out). Right in city centre. Worth every penny. Will definitely stay again on next visit.

We arrived and got buzzed in after haveing a bit of friendly with the chatty bloke at reception who helped us with directions we went up to our room which was basic but clean.... the only bone to pick here is having to hand your key in every time you leave.... but ony a minor set back.... good self catering...

This was the second time that my boyfriend and I stayed at Ashfield House, the first was back in November 2015. On both occasions we found the staff super friendly and helpful, on arriving (6 hours prior to check in both times) we were offered breakfast and a locked room to store our luggage until check in. We were then...

I loved staying at Ashfield House. The location is wonderful. You're right in the city center. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They showed us what places to visit and told us how to get there. They even gave us tips on buses. The room was decent enough. The beds were comfortable and the lockers are a decent price...

Staff were friendly, extremely helpful and efficient. Great, central location- close to bus stops but we could walk everywhere as well. Clean rooms and kitchen. Good atmosphere and people. Will stay there every time I am in Dublin!

The address is actually 19-20 DOlier Street, Dublin 2, Dublin, Ireland. I stayed in a 6 bedroom female room. Good points; friendly and helpful staff and comfy beds Bad points; entrance was dirty, reception smelly, the rooms have en suite bathrooms with no extractor fans so the damp has caused mold to grow on the windows and walls and it...

Due to unfortunate circumstances, we were recommended to stay at Ashfield House. After seeing the website and then seeing the real thing, we were very disappointed to see the state of the entrance and then the room. It is very run down on the outside does not realy reflect what you see on the website as the grass is all...

With 2 friends (and also colleagues, we are PhD students) we reserved a private triple room. The room was small but tidy and also the toilet! A bit noisy because of the street outside but with earplugs (given for free at the reception) we had no problems! Position is perfect, very close (5 minutes) to Temple Bar, TRinity College and...

There are good rooms, but they are more expensive. I went in the cheapest one, the 18 pers. dorm.. it was orrible.... sticky, smelly!!! It also depends on which people sleeps around you, of course. Breakfast is good and included. Position is good too.
