My husband and I stayed at Botanic Villa for 2 nights over the summer. We traveled all of Europe this summer and this was by far our worst accommodation. Let me preface the rest of this review by saying that the hosts were fine and plenty nice, but the accommodation itself has a lot to be desired. I am shocked...

Hi MEGGO21. Thank you for your review. Firstly, let me introduce myself as I do not have the option of hiding behind a pseudonym on a website whilst making disparaging remarks about a persons personal appearance. My name is Sandra and I own Botanic Villa,, the anonymous man who let you in and showed you your room and the house...

My wife and I recently spent the weekend in Botanic Villa, we were warmly welcomed by Ken. Our room was spacious and most importantly clean! The journey in and out of the city centre by bus was quick and efficient, with the bus stop mere minutes up the road. Sandra cooked us a beautiful Irish breakfast for our couple of...

I've never stayed in a bed and breakfast before, and this didn't disappoint. Had a great one night stay at botanic villa. Room was cozy, clean and had its own bathroom. The service was also really great. Classic "Irish breakfast" was delicious, Sandra did an amazing job. Both her and Ken are warm and kind, and made us feel right...

We booked our last 3 nights of our Ireland trip in Dublin and selected Botanic Villa. Sandra was so helpful with my emails prior to the trip and also while we were in Dublin. The breakfast was really good (we opted for the typical irish breakfast) and our last day we had a 6:30am flight--Sandra told us to have breakfast...

We have just spent 2 enjoyable nights at Botanic Villa - Oct 20-22nd. Our room was perfect for a couple - very comfortable - and was complete with its own ensuite. The house was very clean and pleasant. Full Irish breakfast very delicious. The location on the north side of the river, near the Botanical Gardens was only a few...

We were really disappointed for the price. Not polite and helpful when we complain about the bed bugs we found under the sheet after beating us during the night. Don't stay there and find another place!!!

As the owner and operator of Botanic Villa this last 20 years, I can catergorily state that I have never had bed bugs in my establishment and neither myself of Ken who are present to greet and serve very single guest that walks through our door we have never received a complaint about such. Also, as per statement above, we...

I stayed 4 nights in a small, simple room on the second floor with a single bed and an ensuite washroom with sink and toilet. The room also had access to a roof top... kind of like a patio or terrace. A full washroom with shower was next door. There was easy access to buses but I lucked out with...

Thankyou to Sandra and Ken for a hospitable welcome and for looking after us during our stay in Dublin recently. This B&B is a converted Dublin townhouse north of the river with a number of lockable rooms over a few floors which are all cleaned daily and well-equipped. It's a 20 minute easy walk into the city centre, or a...

My mother, my sister and I stayed at Botanic Villa our first three nights in Ireland. Everyone was so very kind, going out if their way to be sure we had everything we needed AND MORE! We also enjoyed visiting the Botanic Gardens that were just a short walk away. Beautiful!
