Two of us went for a long weekend. I Wasn't too sure on ideal locations in Dublin, but it was clear we made a good choice here. The staff were without fault and couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. Our room was basic but looked great and had everything we needed (The incredibly comfy bed, a definite highlight). Absolutely slap bang in the middle of Dublin with a short walk to almost anything. Not expensive. Room is clean, well appointed - a little basic with a minimum of space but a good sized bathroom. If you're room faces the front expect an early start with the beer deliveries, so make use of the ear plugs if you're sensitive... More

We stayed here 21st Oct - after our son's wedding. From booking to checking-out we were treated like "returning family". Nothing was any trouble and Lina even went so far as to allow us drop off luggage the evening before and also stored all our bags - plus vases of flowers from the wedding reception :) while we went off... We spent three nights at Kelly's. The location is superb, within walking distance of EVERYTHING! The staff was so nice and accommodating. The room was very basic, but it was clean and had a great shower. My only complaint is that the room was very very warm. The windows would only open up about 6 inches and that was not... More

Kelly's isn't a bad hotel at all. It just isn't amazing. It does what it says on the tin. All of the reviews about noise are very true. But the location is superb. If you are wanting a romantic break or are an older couple or family then this hotel definitely isn't for you. FACT. But, if you are flying... More

I realize this hotel might not be for everyone, but I personally really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is very central, which is great if you want to enjoy closeby sights, shopping and the amazing nightlife Dublin has to offer. This makes it very loud in the evening, but to be fair, the hotel offers earplugs in every room, which... More

Firstly, we had an amazing weekend in Dublin. The pubs, atmosphere, food and drink were all great. The only dampner was the hotel. Had we booked a hostel like some of our friends did, I wouldn't have a grumble. But, paying €380 for 2 nights it certainly was not of the expected standard. Main issues Nowhere to sit apart from... We stayed at this hotel with others for an event and if it wasn't for that I would have moved on to somewhere else. We were given a room over the back courtyard of Hogan's bar. It meant the noise and disturbance was horrific. Now you know that could occur given the location BUT once the bar closed at 2am,... More

The location is good. The hotel is near temple bar in a lively neighbourhood with a lot of cafes, bars and restaurtants. A lot of shopping possibilities near too. The hotel has no elevator, and the rooms are either on the third or fourth floor, so if you don't like stairs, this is not a hotel for you. The design... More
