This is a very charming hotel with clean rooms, fresh sheets and an original feel. It is a bit noisy on weekends but the ear plugs helped a lot! We stayed there on a Tuesday and Wednesday too and it was very quiet. It is the best location you can ask for, we walked everywhere.

Nice little hotel in the center of Dublin. I traveled solo and loved staying there. Immediate access to all the attractions of the city, beds are comfy, and it is very neat. The warnings about noise are real, only on Friday and Saturday and you might as well join the cool

Very nice and helpful staff, great location, small rooms and older building where you must carry all luggage up all flights of stairs. Very clean. There are bars around the area but the noise did not seem that bad. Breakfast included was good.

All the warnings about the noise that you are expected to tolerate from the bar below the bedrooms when staying at this hotel in the end do nothing to excuse the disrespect and financial gall that the owners of this central Dublin establiahment actually show their cuatomers by

ThIs is a very nice and well located hotel in the centre of Dublin. Rooms are comfortable. They are big and spacious. You have to ensure you get a rooms that is not facing the street, as this hotel is above a popular bar that can be very noisy, specially during weekends. Also,

Hey Sarah That's no problem I can help with all your questions as I lived in Dublin for 5 years , December would be a fantastic time to go , the city has a really great atmosphere around that time but as you could imagine it's busy . There are 2 options to get to Kelly's hotel , you can get the airport bus which costs between €6/€10 depending which one you get that you would get off at trinity collage , only approx 5 min walk ( you could google map it to get you there ok but it's simple if you walk along dame street and up George street ) Or get a taxi to the door which will be between €25/€30 Because the hotel is central it's easy to get to everywhere ,sightseeing Dublin castle , museums Stephens green are all within walking distance ,best shopping centre is a tram ride away from Stephens green takes 8 mins to get there and cost €5 return , called Dundrum ... Have a google at it ! You would be staying in the area of the city which is considered arty a cool , it's compared to Shoreditch in London But on a compact scale ... so really cool bars places to eat to suit all tastes ( if you let me know exactly what you like I can give you some pointers ) Temple bar is within a five minute walk from the hotel which is an experience that can't be missed if your visiting but it's expensive so my advice is get in for a while and get out and experience the great bars and clubs around Kelly's If there is anything else fell free to ask Andy

Yes the rooms are stocked with Barry's tea & an excellent instant coffee- they are both very good & I'm hard to please in the tea/ coffee area! I always drink the entire stash & always find it easy to get refills if you need any more of anything. Bottled waters are also supplied. The housekeeping & staff there are so warm & lovely- they'll help with anything. You just ask reception if you need an iron. Enjoy your stay!

"Top floor seems quieter."
"Do not stay in room 6"
"Room 6 and room 5 are directly above the bar its just like sleeping in the middle of the disco floor. Unbearable"
"Try for the 3rd floor to avoid noise - it does get warm up there."
"higher floors might have less noise from the bar downstairs"
