Rooms here are clean, spacious and comfortable. Check in was friendly. I was told that if we wanted breakfast, to book at reception to save €3 per breakfast, I wasn't told to do this night before. The next morning, I went to reception and said we'd like to pay for breakfast, I was curtly told that to get discount we...

The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. Tram (Luas) stop right out front making it easy to commute into the heart of Dublin CBD. Reception staff are very attentive and welcoming - especially during the busy St. Patrick's Day and World Cup Rugby weekend. The restaurant food and the room service food isn't that great. Service in the restaurant is...

It's highly unusual that I write a review "mid-stay" but on this occasion I need to. Arrived at the hotel last night and received a friendly welcome from the reception team. Room is good, modern, clean, spacious and everything you need for a couple of nights in the city. However the issue I have/had was with the bar/food. For some...

Stayed here for one night while on business in Dublin, Really stylist design and great rooms. Very clean throughout. Had dinner in the DemiSemi bar and it was great. Staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast selection was very good. Would definitely recommend. Picked this hotel specifically for it's location - some may find it a bit far from the city...

Stayed here for a couple of nights, and can't fault the hotel at all. Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable, breakfast was plentiful and great value, the staff were very helpful and courteous, the welcome surprise for my birthday was a nice touch. Slightly out of main city centre but Luas meant you were in the heart in 5 mins,...

Very nice modern Hotel, Directly opposite the Tram stop. Good value for money considering it was St Patrick's Day and we were also there for the rugby.Sham about the result, but as usual the Irish are brilliant hosts.

I loved the rooms here, very comfy beds, spotless clean sheets. Liked the ambiance in the bar and lobby. Perfect hotel to stay at for a concert in 3 Arena, directly opposite the venue. Will definitely stay again.

Came here for a few drinks and lunch before the rugby game. Good bar with an excellent choice of drinks and a good lunch menu. We had beef chiabata with chips and it was very good especially when washed down with a pint of Guinness. If visited Dublin again would stay here.

We love how environmentally friendly The Gibson is! Very cool location and rooms are nice and large. The room service was friendly and quick and he gave us some really great tips for how to get to the St. Patrick's Day parade. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Chic and understated with a music pedigree that runs deep, the gibson hotel Dublin is the ultimate urban retreat. Music lovers, art junkies, food fanatics - whatever your passion it's right on our doorstep. We do sleeping, meeting, dining, gigging, touring, wedding and relaxing really really well. We mix all these things with a fresh, energetic, slightly off centre approach and we know it works. Exhibitions, supporting local artists, urban weddings and the odd celebrity are elements of what makes us different to the normal Dublin Hotel. You will find our staff friendly, responsive and happy - there is a secret to this that we can't possibly share. The gibson hotel is the ideal location to explore the city and planning your stay is easy. The M1 and M50 are 8 minutes away via the Port Tunnel and we have ample covered parking for our guests. With the luas stop right outside our front door Connolly train station is only 8 minutes away and Heuston train station is a short 20 minutes from the hotel. The Luas will take you to the City centre in 10 minutes or if you prefer to take in the views of the River Liffey a brisk 15 minute walk along the quays will bring you to O'Connell street, the heart of Dublin city. Great beds, 100MB complimentary WiFi, a gym, relaxation area, restaurant, bar and meeting space are all part of the deal. The gibson hotel is modern yet comfortable, it's different and it's better, it's large, it's friendly and it's a building that is alive with great people from the moment you set foot until the moment you leave. ... more   less
