Dublin, Ireland was my first solo trip overseas and Teresa's above and beyond hospitality at Oaklodge made my first experience easy, comfortable and overall amazing. I was greeted each morning with a full Irish breakfast that was fresh, hot and delicious! The B&B is kept quiet and very clean and is located on an equally quiet residential street. I had...

Hi Melissa. I trust by now you are back safely at home and I am happy that your first solo trip overseas was enjoyable. This is indeed a very safe area for the solo traveller. I raised my three daughters, through their teenage years to adulthood in this house and was never concerned about their coming and going day and...

Teresa is just wonderful. The place feels like how I imagine Dublin should feel. The food was great! Irish breakfast, eggs, black pudding, the bacon was to die for...I stay about a week. Came and went as I pleased, convienent location. Bus around corner. Bring your rain coat. Dublin rain make it all alright! I would not go anywhere else!...

Hi Ralph, I have been very busy so had not the chance to respond to your review. It was lovely having you to stay. I hope the poker is still being lucky for you. The walk to the city is indeed beautiful, especially this time of year when the streets are lined with the beautiful orange blossom trees. I would...

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Oaklodge. The room was lovely, the breakfast generous and delicious and the neighbourhood elegant and easy to get to. Teresa is a lovely and welcoming host. The church bells ringing were a little distracting at first but we quickly adapted. We'd happily return for another stay.

Teresa, the hostess, was very kind right from the start (at the booking stage). We arrived quite late (around midnight) and she was there to welcome us. We stayed two nights. Our room (the twin en-suite) was very comfortable and well decorated. The breakfast was excellent (full Irish breakfast) - Teresa: I need to get your recipe of the brown...
