My stay here started off bumpy--they made a mistake and put me in an all-male room instead of an all-female room but when I complained they were very apologetic and upgraded me to my own room in the townhouse part which was unexpected but really great of them! It just goes to show that even though they're a budget accommodation,...

I stayed here for one night while meeting some friends in the city. The first thing I was impressed by was the great location. Busaras, the city's main bus station where I arrived, is just around the corner, and O' Connell Street is a few minutes walk in the other direction. I got a single room for 45 euros booked...

Just came back from a few days in Dublin around St Patricks day. Have never left a review on a hotel but felt I had to this time. First of all this hotel is brilliant value for money. We went with 5 people and had one double and a triple room. Both were decent size and quality. In terms of...

This hostel was for the most part quite good. The reception room was bright and cheerful with helpful staff. The rooms are a little dirty with some odd smells, but hey what do you expect in a hostel! I don't advise to sit on the toilets and definitly wear sandals in the shower! There was a cute sitting area outside...

I can't imagine hostels getting any better than this. We stayed in an 8-bed room, but for the first two nights, we were the only ones there, which meant plenty of space and privacy. Even when people arrived there was plenty of room with a big decorative fireplace and mirror. The beds and bunk ladders are built tough and strong...

I was very pleased with my stay at the Globetrotters Hostel Dublin, Ireland. I booked this hostel online and was nervous about how the hostel would actually look once we arrived. (I have stayed in a few scary ones!) Upon arrival my friends and I were very pleased. The inside was very clean, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful...

When we booked here we werent sure what to expect but on arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady who was more than hospitable and very helpful. The room is great, clean with very comfy beds. No noise and able to open a door on...

Having travelled extensively, I find the number one issue for most hostels is security. This hostel not only operates an excellent front door security policy with key card access to individual rooms. I rate this very highly. Whilst nowhere is cheap in Dublin for staying, when you factor in the breakfast you get as part of your stay, this is...

It was close to town, definitely value for money, they had a lift almost to our floor, full breakfast was inlcuded in the rate and that was first class, then even had porrige available. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were extremely lucky to score an 8 bed attic room to ourselves for 2 nights, it had a...

“I had no idea what to choose, and it was random that I be upstairs. However, I did request an all girls room, and there were, I think, 8 beds in total. With earplugs, and something to cover my eyes, it was quite nice! :) Enjoy!!”
