I found this place absolutely perfect. It was recommended to me by a friend who had been in Dublin in 2012. I was promised a slice of home comforts and welcome. The staff were very friendly and looked after all our needs. The real Irish welcome.

Fantastically central location, 10 minutes easy walk from Temple Bar. Great ( and typically Irish - warm and friendly ) welcome from the 'Director of First Impressions' who immediately accommodated my ( essential ) request for a room at the back of the hotel ( i.e. less noise ). This hotel is 'one up' from a hostel - lots of...

Spent there 6 nights. Apart from someone snoring as h*** next to me (bad luck!), the stay was very good. I met a lot of people, the rooms (in my case, a dorm of 12 beds) were very clean with the necessary space we need. Only minus would be the fact of having only one bathroom for the whole dorm...

I stayed on my own and was made to feel welcome. I enjoyed the layout and feel of the place, the staff were very friendly and having a locked (when unstaffed) room to leave your luggage in before or after checking in/out was great. Room, food, cleanliness, wifi all good. Great location, busy, noise from nearby bars seemed to stop...

We had a two night stay here and found it was a great base, very central and clean and comfortable. The reception staff were helpful and friendly (they were able to oblige us with an earlier check in than usual as we had arrived well before 2pm). We booked direct with the the hotel and took advantage of the free...

4 of us stayed in the Townhouse very good location close to O'Connell street. Also it's only a short walk to Temple Bar. There is a hop on/off bus stop just out side. A good standard of rooms with helpful staff. We all enjoyed our stay we would return and use this hotel again.

I can't say enough good things about The Townhouse. We had a wonderful experience there. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the location is really convenient. The customer service was outstanding. Our daughter forgot a stuffed animal in the room and we didn't realize it until we had checked out and were on our way home. A...

Hi KH We were delighted to have you stay and thank you for you kind words. We really try hard to deliver on customer service and your review confirms that it is paying off, our location right in the heart of Dublin is a key selling point, however, we like to think that our dedicated Tourist Information Desk and experienced...

I spent a considerable amount of time identifying a hotel to stay in Dublin. After reading the reviews on tripadvisor decided on the Townhouse. I booked two rooms one for my self and my niece from NZ. All in all I was happy with my choice. I had room 206 which overlooks the main road and while there is noise...

Loved this quirky hotel. My bed was so comfy, small bathroom but I was only using this as a base for the weekend and it ticked all the boxes of cleanliness, comfort, good breakfast, nice area and easily accessible into the heart of Dublin. I booked directly with the hotel and got free breakfast, a friend used Booking.com and for...

Stayed at the Townhouse for two nights. Booking and contact before stay was easy. Book through website to get free breakfast. Arrival and check in was perfect. We were given a room in the new wing. Room was compact but just enough for 2 people. With kettle and shower. Room view overlooked the back of a restaurant bin area and...
