Sub-average experience all round. Upon arrival and throughout the whole visit, the staff were rude and unwilling to talk to us or to explain the issues that had arisen as part of our first day. The accommodation, while of course was cheap, seemed incredibly old and used. The actual building itself was also old and rickety, with semi-fixed steps and...

The room turned out to look nothing like the picture you see when booking, instead we initialy got a very small room with a double bunk bed! After complaining we got a room that was a bit bigger but with 2 beds on the opposite of eachother. In addition, it seems a bottle of perfume magically disappeared during our time...

It's a perfect choice for people which don't have a high standard. It's perfectly located so you can almost walk everywhere. Even the bus station for airport transport is right in front of the hostel. If I ever go back to Dublin I would definitely would go back there. Staff is very friendly.

The hostel was fine and clean. The bathrooms are not beautiful, but they are clean and functional. The breakfast was small... but fare. The common rooms were the best part. the wifi worked really well and they have electrical outputs everywhere. The staff was very friendly. The location is the best part.

My two friends and I stayed in this hostel for four nights and we were really happy with the location, right in the middle of the city, just 5 minutes walk from the pubs in Temple bar neighbourhood and 10 minutes from Trinity college and Grafton street (for shopping). It's a good value for money hostel (we paid 15€ per...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights – and I’m really glad it wasn’t any longer. The room itself was extremely small, and damp – triggering both our asthmas (I would not recommend staying here with asthma!) The ‘ensuite’ was disgusting – broken toilet seat, cracks in the shower floor with tape over them (?!), extractor fan did...

Kinlay House was a good hostel to stay in while in Dublin. They offer free walking tours to guests during the day and have great advice if asked. Within walking distance of all attractions if you are willing to walk. I felt very safe during my stay there and was impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms. I had stayed...

We had a private Double Room with Shared bathroom, small room, but clean and practice. Shower and bathroom were clean, hot water any time. Airlink bus 747 bus station is in front of the hostel. Also you can use equipped kitchen with refrigerator, microwave. The staff was extremely kind and helpful and have 24 hour reception services.

Nice location, nice rooms, nice people, nice breakfast; however... The beds themselves are disgusting. At least mine was. Under the sheet on the mattress pad it was stained yellow from age I assume, and there were big splotches of red/brown stains which I assume may have been dried blood. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep. I guess it...
