Spend 3 nights here in December 2015 and was pleased with what I found! Not an expensive hotel by any means, but very convenient from a location point of view.
A lot of old houses knocked together makes it a maze to navigate, but adds...More
The hotel isn't In the city centre but is walking distance to the center. The hotel has a good value for the money because you can stay in Dublin in more expensive rooms but you don't need to do it, this offer a good deal....More

The room that we had was huge, it was really spacious. The position of the hotel is excellent only few minutes walking from everywhere. The breakfast is good if you like meat, eggs and bacon.
There was a small selection of jams and nothing sweet...More

Hi Sandy R
We do have a taxi company who will pick you up from the airport, the cost for which is €22, if you wish to book you can contact me by email, I don't seem to be allowed to publish the direct email address here but it is readily available on our website, along with lots of other information which may be of interest to you.
If you wish to use the Airport Bus which stops on O'Connell Street, approx 5 mins walk from the hotel there is ample luggage storage inside.
Some rooms have bath with shower attachment and some rooms have walk in shower, if you would like to request either just let me know at the email address above.
I look forward to welcoming you to the Castle Hotel.

Hi, I'm not sure what the size of the beds is, but it wasn't small, I would guess they are least king size and very comfortable. I would suggest that if you are going to stay here, you make sure you get a room on the right side of a block, so you can have sun on the balcony in the afternoon and evening. The apartments are in blocks of two, side by side. The left side apartment balconies are blocked from the sun in the afternoons and evenings by the right side apartments, so an apartment on the right side is the one to go for. The staff are great and very helpful, so it shouldn't be a problem if you give them lots of notice.
