Great place to start your citytrip. Good food and drinks and great assistance at the reception, bar and travel stand. I would advice taking the free city tour, leaving from the Generator hostel. Even if you don;t feel like going out, the hostel is a great place to be!

The location is perfect, very in the center but not in a super crowded area. Can go walking anywhere. My room had a strange smell (not good smell); they have no kitchen for the guests to use, so you have to buy their expensive breakfast (which is not good) and expensive dinner ( 12 euros for a burguer). It is...

If you're looking for somewhere affordable to stay in the very expensive City of Dublin then would definitely recommend Generator. Food and drink was excellent and much cheaper than elsewhere. Walking distance to the city centre with excellent location for O'Connell Street and Temple Bar. The hostel is located in a fairly industrial area- not sure how safe I'd feel...

a bit further out from the centre of town and fewer options to get you there from Dublin airport late at night, but the site has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Especially if you enjoy Jameson Whiskey.

It was very loud in the room. The beds were uncomfortable. There is no soap or shampoo provided. Breakfast was not very good. The people that worked there were very nice and helpful when asked questions though.

Good place for young people, music, bar, good ambiance, maybe less interessant when you are with your family. The black point : the commercial face : the Wifi is free, but ALL the other services are to be paied (7€ to use the laundry, or the luggage room..)

I think all the generator hostels are pretty good, Dublin was no exception. The rooms are spacious enough and always clean. The only bad thing I would have too say, is that sometimes there are these students groups from different parts of Europe and in my floor were some Spanish students that were extremely loud until 01 am or more....

The rooms weren't the best compared to other Generator Hostels I've stayed at, but nonetheless, I enjoyed my experience there. The breakfast was less than desirable, but the coffee was good. The bar was rather enjoyable. Decently priced drinks and friendly staff. The burgers we had for lunch were superb. I would honestly stay back at this hostel just for...

It's a great hostel in Dublin, been there with friends and it was very fun to stay at. Staff members are cool, the bar is open late and the room was very clean and well equiped. We booked a room for 4 with private bathroom, and it was just what we need for a week-end in Dublin.

Dublin overall is quite an expensive city first of, and this hostel has no fridge for guests of any sort which kind of forces you to eat out all weekend long, which becomes quite expensive. On the other end, this hostel seems like the best one in Dublin and is very nice and very trendy. Overall, regardless of how I...
