A great located accommodation with clean and spacious rooms. Warm welcome with professional receptionists. Great bar and music to start the weekend. An outrageous choice for breakfast. The check out was smooth and easy.

Pretty loud and fun hostel full of energetic people. Overall it's a great place for staying if you plan to stay for fun. If you need high silence then it may be a problem. The bar gets some nice music at late evening and is big plus if one is planning for fun stay.

Big, clean, comfortable, great bar and lounge. The only thing is the music is super loud even from my room and the Irish breakfast is a total ripoff €4.50 for 3 button mushrooms, half a thin slice of blood sausage, and some overdone scrambled eggs. Over the hostel was fantastic value for the price. recommend it.

Hmmm....not sure if I should call this place a hostel or a hotel. Everything seems so new and clean. They offer a lot of convenience. There are outlets and individual lights for each bed. Beds were comfortable. There was a guy snoring in my room, which is obviously not the hostels fault. When I asked if there was something that...

Great value for money and location is excellent, surroundings perfect and luas just around the corner. Great for groups travelling and hen and stag celebrations. The hostel is definitely more suited to adults but I had no problems travelling with 3 adults and 2 teenagers, they were a little bored in the night but the free wifi helped big time.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Bar closed too early. It wasn't even midnight. Late night I had to walk across to James St to find an open chip shop. Maybe because it was only Tuesday night. Good location for a walk to the Cobblestone or if you want to do the Jameson tour and shop Jervis. Also...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your recent review on the Generator Dublin. The bar closes only if its quiet or no activities on, especially on a Tuesday night. As our common spaces are quite large we like to give guests an opportunity to mingle hence the giant Jenga and other in-house activities. Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay overall...

Good hostel. Can be noisy at night. But clean, good food and bar available. Good basic breakfast. Bathrooms not on every floor but easily accessible. 15ish minute walk into city centre. Airport bus stop close by.

Based on reviews over here, I booked my first two nights in Ireland in the Generator, Dublin. Good choice. It takes a 15 min walk from 'O connell Bridge. The hostel is big! Large hotel like atmosphere. good place to go with friends, not a great place to meet people. No quiet spaces. Cant make your own food or even bring hot food into the lobby while their food service is open. Breakfast isn't worth the price.

A clean and new hostel in a pleasant, if not really central, location - but overpriced. I stayed at the Generator for three nights in a six-bed room. The hostel is clean, with plenty of clean showers and toilets, a nice (but quite pricey) bar and a tour desk. It's easily reached by tram from both Connolly and Heuston stations,...

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to post your recent review on the Generator Dublin.
