I stayed here for two nights back in July while doing a course in the nearby hotel. Ann is the owner of Applewood, and her warm and friendly hospitality was very welcoming and made me feel not far from home. The bedroom was beautifully maintained with a very clean bathroom, and fresh towels provided daily. There were pubs shops and...

Spent 2 nights at Applewood as part of a 2 week break to tour Ireland. We choose Applewood due to its location and due to the fact it offered off road parking. Nice room en suite, very clean and tidy. Anne looked after us and gave us lots of tips for travelling by bus and eating in the evening. She...

Im travelling to Dublin for a family celebration on Sat July 18th. I spent a long time looking at options and found that Dublin was very busy on that weekend. I was delighted to find a nice room to book at the Applewood B and B. I went through the whole process of booking the room online and was delighted...

We loved our stay at Applewood. Ann was a wonderful hostess, the breakfasts were fantastic, and things were set up so we could easily meet and chat with our fellow guests, both at breakfast and in the living room. There was easy public transportation to and from the airport and downtown, and Ann was patient in answering all our questions...

As others have stated the location make this a very useful B&B. the room was adequate and breakfast was OK. I have come to expect tea if arriving at tea time but maybe I am too picky considering a modest priced B&B in Dublin. The owner was helpful with local knowledge and fair in reducing the rate when we had...

My son and myself spent a few nights in Applewood last weekend. It's a lovely B&B. Our room was spacious and beautifully presented. Tv and WiFi in the room and a great shower unit in the bathroom! Breakfast both mornings was top class and Ann, the owner, is a very pleasant and friendly woman. She's great to give advice regarding...

We stayed in this apple-themed B&B as a family of three and felt like at home. The family room is cosy and quiet. Both, the airport and the city centre can easily reached by bus (the bus stop is just outside the house), plus they have a parking space. Mrs.It is a good value for money!

Stayed here for two nights along with my sister who had stayed here previously. Very well situated in the bus route between Dublin city centre and the airport. Our host, Anne, was most welcoming and a mine of information. She even supplied us with a bus travel card (5 euro refundable deposit) which once topped up is a lot cheaper...

Just back from our third stay with Ann at Applewood, and it was lovely as always. Ann is so knowledgeable about the city and the neighborhood; she has directed us to restaurants, pubs, shops, busses. The location is perfect for local, city center, and airport connections. Great breakfasts and clean, comfortable room. Hope we see her next year.

Thank Margaret S
