As we were checking in, a woman complained to the front desk that there was something wrong with the shower. I asked if it was going to be fixed and they assured us it would. For two days we had cold water. I realize that issues happen, but the front desk was not at all helpful or accommodating.

Stayed here 3 nights. Bed was truly king sized, by American standards. Our room had a small staircase that lead to a loft area where our daughter had her own twin bed and small sofa, making it perfect for 3 people. Huge window let in plenty of natural light and bathroom was large, double sinks. We did have a problem...

What a wonderful welcoming hotel this is! All the comforts of home yet with a touch of class. What shall I mention first? Food and refreshments were of the highest quality. The locally sourced ingredients helped to make the best cooked breakfast I have ever enjoyed. Additionally the spread includes home made cakes, loaves and jams. The perfect touch had...

Fabulous place. Staff were warm and friendly. They accommodated everything we needed: stored our bags until check in; great directions around town. Breakfast to go with our early morning. Prosecco in the sitting room in the evening was lovely and food was spectacular! Close to the farmers market in the park and right on the sightseeing bus line. Bravo!

Firstly, this hotel is not as bad as the worst reviews given but it is not great either. On arrival you are greeted by two large flights of stairs. I was suffering from a knee injury but there's no one help get your bags up or down the stairs. The ground floor public rooms and lobby look nice but bedrooms...

Great place. Helpful staff. Lovely breakfast. Calm location. Reasonably priced. Book ahead and be delighted. Everything is walking distance. Places to eat nearby. Room cleaning was efficient and comprehensive. Beds made impeccably. Lots of little extras. Come to the Pembroke townhouse!

I originally had a downstairs room with a view of the carpark, then they moved us upstairs to a lovely quiet room with a perfect view. The staff are polite and gracious and welcoming almost to a fault. The full Irish breakfast is overwhelmingly magnificent. And one of the night staff plays ukulele. Also, when I checked out they gave...

Pembroke Townhouse is a superb place to stay in Dublin. The family room we had was very quiet, warm and spacious. The staff are friendly, very thoughtful and professional. The excellent breakfast menu is varied and wide and provides well for special dietary needs: I had soya milk ready for me this morning. The tea and coffee facilities with freshly...

What a welcome - a crocodile made from towels on the bed holding prosecco and glasses! This was lovely as it my friends 40th and from the outset the hotel was great. The room was spacious, very clean and had everything you would need. The hotel staff were pleasant, breakfast beautiful with good choice and lots of home made items....
