The hotel was booked by friends who we were meeting up with in Dublin for a long week-end (3 nights). I think it unlikely we would have booked a hotel so far out of town. We did have an en suite bathroom but the room itself was large but poorly furnished with odds and ends of second hand furniture with...

It was my first time in Dublin and I felt very welcome. The place was very clean and tidy and the staff were always lovely. The price and the breakfast is good taking in consideration that Dublin is not a cheap city. I had coffee and tea available all the time and TV and wif-fi in my room. The accomodation...

1 bathroom for all upper floor rooms we were waiting for over 40 minutes to use the toilet and 2 hours for a shower, renovations being done but clearly not to the room we were in. Freezing cold although the heating was on as front door is open all day due to building work, leaking sink in bathroom and rubble...

The price is great for Dublin and the house looks nice. It has an almost hostel like feel to it and there are books and common room areas where you can get comfy if you want to. Other than that it was average to sometimes disappointing, The shared bathrooms were dirty everytime we went inn and the water pressure in...

Funny name :) this place offers decent services for a fair price. Located in a quiet residential area, a few minutes from the bus stop going to centre of Dublin. Very nice and friendly personnel too. It's the perfect place to stay if you don't eant to spend too much for accomodation and you know you won't spend much time...

This is a basic, hostel-style hotel. Our room was clean and what we expected, and the staff helpful. Our only complaint is that the water pressure in the shower was very weak, and this problem was not fixed even though we complained about it the first day of a five-day stay.

Stayed last year and got a pleasant surprise, booked in advance this year and managed to get a en suite bathroom instead of a shared one, we were on the ground floor and wished we'd gone for what we had last time, it was really quite noisy with doors slamming and people going for breakfast, the room looked like it...

This is an unusual spot. It's larger than a B&B but it offers very basic B&B accommodation. It lacks the charm and personal touch that a B&B usually offers. For oversea's visitors it doesn't offer the "Céad Mile Fáilte" that Ireland raves about. Rooms clean, wifi free. Very basic.

Surprised at the ratings for this place. We paid about 113 euros/night and our room was barely adequate. Tiny, charmless room with moldy bathroom. One of the worst showers ever, and we travel a lot. Absurd tv. No desk. No toiletries except hand soap for the bathroom sink. The staff is nice, breakfast is fine, Rathgar is sweet, quiet, and...
