After reading some of the reviews I was a little worried, about the booking, however, as we were travelling as part of a large group, we did not change the booking. We arrived early and the staff were really helpful. They put our bags in the luggage room with our names on it, so that we could enjoy Dublin without...

The Dawson is in a great location if you are visiting the city, it is very very close to a couple of nightclub/bars which are a bit lively so you are better off in a room at the back. The hotel lets its self down by the poor or unfinished quality of repairs and general upkeep of what should be...

My friend and I were due to stay at The Dawson on the weekend of Good Friday in April 2015, just before we were about to take off and my phone to be switched off I got a phone call from the hotel manager informing me that we wouldnt be able to stay with them due to a fault in...

Well what can I say? Please don't book here. The rooms are gross and creepy. The noise is terrible if the club downstairs is opened. Oh, and the ceiling creeks if people are above you. The bed slants. No shower in the room (bath only). The ceiling leaked in the bathroom. I wouldn't have minded the place if I were...

stayed one night in mid April. have stayed at other St Stephen Green hotels before. This place has its priorities right for a business traveller. you are in the middle of a busy shopping, restaurant and bar location. the hotel ireception is on the first floor so dont expect a lot of fuss with bars and restaurants etc. I used...

As mentioned in many other reviews the noise coming from the nightclub made for a truly awful night. I would have had a better nights sleep on a bench in St Stephen's Green. The next morning breakfast was taken in a restaurant with all the charm and atmosphere of a motorway service station toilet. I was too exhausted to complain...

Awful awful place. If I could give it zero I would. The first thing a hotel is for is to sleep in, and here it is not possible as the music pumped out from the nightclub downstairs is so intense it makes the room shake. The person on reception nonchalantly replied that it was the weekend, although in my world...

This is a terrific boutique hotel, centrally located in a bright lively area. Staff were pleasant,( Ann on front desk, porter and breakfast server) room fully equipped and clean and breakfast is cooked to order accompanied by great coffee. Free newspapers. A group of 10 of us stayed here from 24/4 to 26/4. Key points....lovely staff, but they are useless at serving breakfast and don't speak very good English! The breakfast when we eventually got it was great. If you want to sleep.....don't stay here, the bar is very noisy! The spa however is brilliant and I would have no hesitation...
