The proprietor was awful and extremely confrontational almost ended in a brawl and made my wife cry. The place has no parking the owner is extremely cheap. He refuses to put the heat on (1700-2200 only) it was so cold in the room you can see your breath. Breakfast was bad and don't even bother trying to check in early...

My husband and I had originally planned a two-day stay in Dublin but with so much to see we extended our stay another night. John and his wife are wonderful hosts who go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. We had a third floor room which was decorated and had such nice touches (such as a hair...

We have just recently returned from a stay at Slievenamon Manor. We spent two nights in Dublin and were very happy with our choice. Parking was very easy in front of the house. We took the public bus into Dublin center and arrived in about 15-20 minutes. John was very accommodating to special requests - i.e. we arrived early into...

John Kennedy runs an AMAZING B&B. He is very welcoming and provided a wonderful "homey" feel for my 3 sisters & I. We enjoyed this stay VERY MUCH!! He even drove us to the city center in his taxi and cooked us a homemade Irish breakfast each morning. What a wonderful guy and B&B to stay in! We were very...

Our First day in Dublin, we had a crazy experience of mixing left and right. I hope this is not unique to us, I did feel like a complete nut. But, after several hours of looking for the B and B, we found it, after discovering that Left was still Left and Right still Right. The Kennedys were so kind...

My husband and I arrived late to this b&b. When we arrived the landlady started screaming that we were late and because it was after 6pm she was not obligated to give us the room. When we tried to explain, she continued screaming and saying that we should have called, should have found our way sooner, on and on. For...

We spent two wonderful days at this lovely home. Mrs. Kennedy was the perfect hostess and made us as welcome as if it were our own family home. The accommodations were fine and the breakfasts were great. The advice on where to go and how to get there was happily received. The manor is right on public transportation routes and...

We were incredibly happy with our stay at Slievenamon Manor- everything from the sleeping arrangements to the friendliness of our hosts exceeded our expectations. The location is fantastic as it is in close proximity to attractions such as Temple Bar, the Old Jameson Distellery and the Guinness Storehouse- for those with extra energy, a walk to each is certainly possible,...

This is the second time I've had the pleasure of staying with John & his wife at Slievenamon Manor and this place is a hidden gem. Super location, super breakfast and the new kitchen is something special. They clearly take pride in the way they present and maintain the Manor. It's also ideal for families or if you are just...

This place was very accommodating!!! We only spend one night here but it was very nice. Beautiful area right along the coast and only a 10 min bus ride to downtown. The bus stop is right across the street! Our host was very helpful! Our airline lost our luggage and we had them delivered to the b&b while we went...
