Stayed for 2 nights with husband and 2 teenagers in quad room. Well placed for City centre and sight seeing. The hotel its self is an older building and needs a little improvement with decor but in particular the bathroom was quite worn and the plug sockets in our room were of concern to me as they were cracked or...

The location of this hotel couldn't be better- easy walking to Grafton Street, Dublin's great museums, Temple Bar District and the general life of Dublin. However be prepared for 'shared bathroom' to mean one toilet and shower between 10+ rooms. Rooms on the third floor up three flights of stairs - no lift! - which is a pain with suitcases....

Dear Lucy921, I would like to thank you for your compliment to our location and proximity to many things that Dublin has to offer. Unfortunately with such locations also comes street noise as it is the very center. We are currently looking at the issue with mentioned 3rd floor and as temporary solution we have introduced fans into our room for...

I stayed at the Kildare Street hotel while visiting in Dublin. I had the same room I had last year when I stayed there. The hotel is clean, walking distance from downtown Dublin and is across the street from museums and Trinity College. There is road construction going on nearby. The staff at Kildare Street are exceptional! Lucas was always...

I needed a room for a night close to Dublin centre and my office. Great location, and was made welcome by the check in manager, and very late in the evening at that. No elevator in the hotel, but that's not a problem. Room was clean and welcoming. Shower was a little small and the doors sticky, water was good...

The hotel is very close to everything. The room was clean. The bed was a bit shaky, the bathroom obviously very old and the shower didn't work properly. From my point of view it is too expensive for what it has to offer although the location is great

#1 Tip: They ask if you want to pay in Euros or Pounds - I said pounds. So the receipt is in Euros... So if you expense it you'll make a double loss. Positive: Very nice front door. Central location. Staff friendly But: Very expensive Rooms small, smelly and dank. Very, very tired. Breakfast dismal - no sweetener (despite being...

An ok budget hotel with a great central location. It's quite "tired" though - public areas as well as rooms and, especially, bathrooms are in dire need of some refurbishment. The floor flooded every time we used the shower as the doors to the cubicle no longer closed properly. Soft furnishings felt a little un-fresh, and so on.

I booked this in a bit of a hurry, and based on the location because I needed to be near where my family were staying- their hotel didn't have any vacancies.
