Good location - Salthill is a nice visit, and only a 15min walk to the city. Comfortable sleep - heater doesn't work, but radiator kicked in at night, warming the room really well. Really nice, friendly staff. Hot water took several minutes to reach my room. (When it did, it was roasting.) Shower-head was defective and taped on. Minutes after... More

Booked as it is close to Galway town centre (about 10-15 minute walk) We actually missed our flight into Ireland and arrived a day late, and didn't have the number to ring ahead to let the guest house know. When we arrived we explained this, and the Polish lady said they'd cancelled our booking, but they still found room for... More

Great nights sleep, the bathroom on top floor needed to have hot water when I needed it and shower head needs not to have tape all over it to contain the water. having said all that I still had a great nights sleep and was a good location. The hot water issue I may have missed a trick but I... More

This B&B is located just over the road from the Salthill beach, less than two minutes into the district of Salthill and only a fifteen minute walk into Galway city centre. Parking was easy, plentiful and free. I was warmly greeted by my host who had a good local knowledge. The breakfast (extra charge) was good and plentiful. The rooms... More

Stayed here for two nights in October. Room was cold and dated. Walls were paper thin also, we stayed in room across from staff office and cold hear everything that was being said in there. Bed was very old, and felt it. Not comfortable at all. Only redeeming factor was its location. 10 minute walk to Galway city centre.

The manager of the property were helpful and friendly at all times. This B&B is about 20mins walking to Eyre Square (City centre of sorts). Did not get the room with the view, but room was warm and comfortable with fresh linen and towels. Breakfast is NOT included in prices. We extended for one extra night, but were charged 1.5... More

We stayed here three times previously (last stay was 2010) and loved it more and more each time. However, since our last stay it has been taken over by new people. My god have they run it into the ground! Check in is not until 4, which is so awkward. We were placed in a room right next door to... More

This place has a really good rating on booking.com, which is absolutely appalling since it is the worst B&B in Ireland I've stayed in (at least in this price range). We were put in a room on the ground floor (view to the cars parked in front of the window), and if you wanted any privacy (basically to be able... More

Spent a week in this B & B when visiting Galway for work. Had a nice relaxing stay. Friendly manager. The room was spacious with a beautiful view of the bay outside the small round window. Free wi-fi was an added advantage. Some issues with the structure of the room and bathroom. The bathroom too small, hardly could turn around... More
