The house was located only a 5-10 min walk away from the central pedestrian streets. We had very comfortable rooms, modern house and furnishings, cool antique sewing tables, and the breakfast in the morning was great. The walk around the quiet neighborhood to city center was nice, with parking behind the house.

Location of this B&B was perfect for my needs as I had to have an early morning operation at University College Hospital which is about 2 minutes walking distance, staff were friendly and rooms were clean with en-suite Satellite TV and free Internet access, a snip at only 45 Euro...

Desota House is a great B&B, situated a very short walk from the centre of Galway. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a flat-screen television in each. There are also tea and coffee making facilities in the room and some toiletries are provided in the bathroom, which is also clean and modern. There are a number of choices for...

Clean room, good hot shower, comfortable bed and multichannel TV. Staff very pleasant and helpful and a there's choice at breakfast, ranging from cereals to cooked and vegetarian. Seemed to be ample on-site parking which is essential in this area near the hospital and university where business premises threaten clamping if you overstay. Light sleepers might find it a bit...

I paid 60 euro for one night here, including breakfast, in a single room. Arrival was smooth and friendly and I was directed to my room. On entering, I was expecting a small room, but not a dirty one! The dust on the doors and windowsill was thick. The bathroom was clean enough, but the towels were old and shabby....

I have no trouble in recommending the Desota. Good location for access to the City Centre, Private car-parking around the back. Very friendly and helpful staff - and a lovely cooked breakfast. All in all, pretty relaxing to be honest.

Great for walking to city center shopping, pubs, and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and did their best given limitations of facilities. Other rooms may be more spacious but it was a struggle to even find enough space to live out of two suitcases at once. Recommend different rates be charged for such a small room.

This B&B is within easy walking distance of the city, bars, and restaurants (even a hospital). And, it's a really nice walk. Not through any sketchy areas or anything. It is also right on a busy street. The overall feel of the place is nice, however we weren't overly impressed with the proprietors. They are not nearly as welcoming as...

We were attanding a party in Monroe's on Dominic Street, and it was just a few minutes walk from there. It is also within walking distance of Shop Street, Roisin Dubh's, the hospital, the university-a great location. You can leave your car there in a secure carpark and walk everywhere. The room was a family room with a very comfortable...

We've stayed in plenty of B & Bs over the past couple of months, and this one would have to be one of the best. We had a beautiful double room at the front of the house, which was very clean and stylishly decorated - bed extremely comfortable (a rarity!). Wireless internet was included, and we were encouraged to use...
