I booked this place but unfortunately I had to cancel due to my father being ill. The cancellation policy says 48 hours notice but I gave 32 hours. The guy told me I would be charged if they could not sell the room which was fair, I wasn't worried because it isn't often on a Saturday night that any sort...

Had a short but pleasant stay in Galway at this nice B&B. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room is small but not tiny and the bathroom had a shower with a rooftop window - so one could see the stars at night :) Walk into the city center took us ca. 12 min, I think it's a good...

My husband, two friends and I stayed in Desota House for 2 nights, we had double rooms they were spotlessly clean, fab shower, great flat screen tv, towels provided, tea/coffee, nothing was too much trouble for staff here. The Irish Breakfast was delightful. The staff were so helpful and informative, couldn't do enough for us, I would thoroughly recommend staying...

We stayed here for two nights in September. It's in a great location, just 5 minutes to the centre of Galway on foot. The rooms, although on the smaller side, are clean, very comfortable and quiet. I'd recommend Desota House to travellers on a budget, looking for excellent value.

Very friendly B&B very close to the city center in Galway, which was nice as we could park our car for day trips and otherwise walk to the main attractions in Galway within 10 minutes. The room was somewhat small, but we were interested in seeing the sights, so that wasn't a bother. The staff were very helpful in recommending...

We found this property extremely neat and tidy. Friendly staff, especially the breakfast staff. Location only five minutes from town centre. Shower pressure was very good; shower recess large; room was reasonable size; great to have Sky TV and Wi-Fi; bed was comfortable. We had a great experience here.

A very handy B & B VERY close to Galway city centre - a great bonus. First impressions deceptive - Outside of house quite dowdy - inside, hallway looked more like a hostel - BUT THEN!! The bedrooms were superb. Bathroom quality could have been better. Breakfast situation not great. Dining area could do with re-furbishment and modernisation - a...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Desota B&B in Galway at the end of a 10 day trip through Ireland. It was a fantastic little B&B. Location is great- walking distance to the center of town, the shops, the pubs and the pedestrian Latin quarter. The rooms are clean, beautiful and very comfortable (including a much larger shower than...

I stayed here for two nights and was very impressed. The room rates are very reasonable for such a nice and well-run B&B. The room and bathroom were very clean with beautiful bedlinen. Breakfast was great and included a bigger than usual choice of cereals, bread etc. as well as a cooked breakfast. The location is also very convenient for...
