Lovely B&B. We were attending a wedding nearby and it was an excellent place to stay. Can't recommend it highly enough. Rooms were a good size, beds extremely comfortable but the thing that really made it great was the host Celine. Absolutely fab hostess. We wouldn't hestiate to stay here again or to recommend it to family and friends

If you are looking for a peaceful rest in Galway away from the city-center fuss, then Marian Lodge Guesthouse is definitely a place to consider. Really nice antique furniture, which contributes to the overall cosiness. But most of all, the hostess is one of the friendliest people I have seen in Ireland. Will definitely stay in Marian Lodge again if...

We have no hesitation in recommending Marian Lodge . A warm welcome followed by an offer of assistance with luggage to a very well appointed bedroom . Our host Celine was on hand for any query big or small and ensured that we enjoyed a wholesome and very enjoyable breakfast. All in all a great experience in Irish hospitality.

You do hear a good bit of talk about how Ireland has changed so and not always for the better. The most powerful antidote to that cynicism is a stop at the Marian Lodge, Salt Hill, Galway. Mrs. Celine Malloy is the hostess who goes the extra mile in providing for your comfort and security. I believe that she can...

Charming hostess Celine is a walking encyclopedia of information about things to do in and around Galway. Our en suite accommodations were very comfortable. (Make sure Celine knows ahead of time if you do not prefer to climb stairs.) The breakfast she serves was enough food to last us into the afternoon when we generally stopped at a pub for...

We arrived in Salthill outside of Galway at the Marian Lodge. Mrs. Malloy was very warm. Showed us our room & made us tea. We went to a couple of dinners in the area over the course of our stay. Mrs. Malloy was able to book our Cliffs of Moher, and Aran Island tours for us. Would recommend this guesthouse...

Arriving at Marian Lodge after battling with Galway 5.00pm traffic, we received a superb welcome from Celine from the outset. She showed us to our room which was spacious to say the least and we wanted for nothing. With the seafront and promenade "minutes" walk from here it is an ideal location for a leisure break with everything you could...

This was our 5th Bed and Breakfast stay in Ireland and we found all of them hospital, friendly and delightful, but I would rank the Marian Lodge Guesthouse as our favorite. The rooms were spacious, most had one large plus a single. We had a room on the top floor with a skylight looking out over the ocean. I like...
