Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was free parking, free and fast wifi, and breakfast was included in the rate and it was delicious. The bar also had a great atmosphere and the live music was great. My only complaint was the wedding downstairs that was very loud and could be heard...

I stay here every time I work in Galway. Staff are so friendly, the food is great and the rooms are clean. Ticks every box for me. Only thing is if you're traveling looking to go out in the city it's a taxi away. Otherwise it's a great hotel. Highly recommend here for the price

We enjoyed our three night stay at the Menlo Park Hotel. Our room was very nice as was the hotel as a whole. We ate a couple meals in the hotel bar and were pleased with our meals, the service, and the atmosphere. The only problem we had was with the location. As a couple of travelers without a rental...

Old carpet, narrow halls, no AC, not the best bedding, no sheet between the duvets and beds, dated decor.the best part is that there is a bathtub and newer bathrooms it seems. About a 15 walk to city center, 5 min drive. Tiny TV. I wouldn't do it again if I could.

Dear Feebee It is disappointing when a guest feels that they would not want to come back and visit us again! Thanks for your review. The halls upstairs are narrow but thankfully this is not usually a great source of dissatisfaction for guests. We have recently refurbished them and laid completely new carpets on all corridors. In relation to your...

Of the 5 hotels we have stayed in Ireland, the Menlo Park was our least favorite. 2 nights here, the room was noisy til midnight, wifi in room was weak and failed numerous times, interior was least well finished of the 5 hotels...e.g., bathroom tile poorly caulked and windowsill had blistery paint, elevator made some loud frightening noises, and worst...

Dear DocNc Thank you for your recent review. We consistently use reviews to assess and develop our standards and we appreciate your feedback. While I am not sure what you mean about your room being noisy until midnight, I suspect this may relate to the car park or people coming and going from the bar? We frequently receive feedback from...
