Location of this hotel is excellent, just a two minute walk from the hustle and bustle of the busy bars and shops. This was our second visit to the hotel in seven months and we were given a beautiful room, it had just been done up, double walk in shower two sinks in the bathroom, an enormous bed and very...

This place is great for location. Our room was basic, the shower pressure sucked, the place was clean. The bar in the hotel was beautifully appointed. The location was great. No parking at the hotel, the car park 2 blocks down was 8 euros for 24 hours. All of city center Galway is walkable from here. The included breakfast was...

We went for a weekend as we were competing in a Crossfit competition, so we wanted somewhere handy to the gym but also somewhere in the centre of Galway. This hotel is a in a central location and it surprisingly quiet for being so central. Rooms are spacious, however a little outdated. The carpet was slightly faded in some places...

We stayed here last year and we're so impressed we booked again on the understanding we had the same room again. Pleased to say the hotel kept this promise. The Victoria won't win any prizes for decor or furniture. But the beds are nice . If they ever get round to refurbishing this place they would get five stars..the staff...

Tucked away just off the side of Eyre Square it is a very central location. It is quiet for such a good location. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Lovely breakfast freshly cooked. Staff are excellent. A very reasonably priced hotel.

Two of us booked into the Victoria based on its central location and price. Despite booking months in advance and specifying a twin room, on arrival we were told that there were only doubles available. The receptionist found us a twin, but it was a small room prepared for single occupancy. Breakfast was disappointing with tinned fruit each day and...

Went with the family for a night stay to visit christmas market. The hotel is situated very central which was great so we were close to everything. The hotel is very tired and dated and could do with an serious upgrade. The room itself was very clean and bed was comfortable but that's it. The staff were very nice and...

Rooms are OK, nothing to write home about. The location is fine, just a few blocks from square and a few more to restaurants and pubs. The hotel pub is good, with only hotel quest. The breakfast was good with ample selection. Good place for budget travelers.
