Turned up on cycle with 2 man tent, after phoning ahead 2 days before (as it was bank holiday. The campsite was overflowing with tents, and when we inquired where to pitch received the reply 'What have you got? A six man tent? Just find a space.' The site charged 20euro which is the maximum we were charged anywhere on...

Stayed here for one night in a caravan. The view is great however, the site isn't anything special. It is overpriced for what it offers, 32€ for a camper with electric. Doesn't include showers or anything else extra. Don't plan to do laundry as it is 10€ for a washer and dryer. Hookups are shared for four sites so be...

Stayed here for one night. Very expensive site. The toilet block is located at a distance from the shower block. Still had to pay for the showers, took a while before the hot water in the shower started working. Signs for the price of hot water in the kitchen, signs about not transferring hot water from the shower to the...

Stayed over easter Thurs-Tues. The site itself is very well maintained and the location/scenery amazing. The owner seems to work very long hours and is a source of every bit of information you'll need! Very helpful and knowledgeable. The facilities are all spotless, toilets, showers etc. Looked handy laundry area but we didn't need to use it this time. Pitches...

Stayed here for five nights in September. Location is brilliant - overlooks Galway Bay. You can walk into Salthill and then Galway itself - takes about an hour. Pitches are tar macadam and well laid out and spacious. On the negative side- toilet facilities could be doing with refurbishment programme. Why do you have to pay extra for a shower?...

We stayed here because it is only a 20 minute walk to Salthill & we could catch a bus to Galway City just outside the park. I fact 1 day we walked into Galway & it took lees than 1 hour just strolling along the promenade. Good wifi My only complaint is that the showers weren't hot enough & there...

We spent two days on this site and it offers everything needed for easy camping. It is within a short beachside walk of Salthill and it is also possible to walk or cycle to Galway City. A bus also runs to city from outside the park. Salthill offers everything a couple or family would want with lots of pubs, restaurants,...

If we had have had time to ask for a refund and found somewhere else, we would have done however it was too late by the time we arrived. This was the most expensive and the worst campsite we stayed on in Ireland over a 2 week holiday. Yes it is located well if you want to visit Galway however...
